if you have an orange stryfe like me the modulus attachments look fairly acceptable on it.

Not to mention. The Modulus is also more comfortable to hold by default. The Stryfe can feel very cramped unless you're holding it by the magwell or a grip, etc.

Just bought a Strife today. I'm thinking of returning it for a Modulus. I'm trying to upgrade from a Retaliator. I've bought most of the Modulus accesories for my Retaliator. Hasbro needs to release a compact Modulus or add more rails to the Strife. Get the best of both that way.

in germany cost a Stryfe 15€ The modulus cost like 60€ ....very expensive

I was going all out on my Stryfe until I got a base modulus with no attachments directly from Hasbro. Put a worker stock on it and it is the same length as a Rapidstrike but semi auto. The Modulus takes a 3s pack easily in the battery compartment. The Stryfe requires a lot of cutting and then the wires are all messy near the trigger mech inside. The modulus also has an awesome spot for a voltmeter for people who want to monitor their lipo charge. I like the stryfe but I have come to love the modulus. I will do a video of mine maybe this week so people can see what I am talking about. Glad you finally compared these two blasters Coop!

Personally, I'd take the Stryfe, as I like much smaller blasters, and the orange Stryfe (Which I have) looks ok with the white add-ons.) Also, I know this breaks the "No mods" rule, but a first-time modder can easily remove the annoying locks in half an hour with only a screwdriver, which makes it even farther superior to the Modulus.

Availability? I can't find a damned stryfe, but my local Walmart has Modulus's a-plenty!

I suppose I wasn't all too surprised by his choice; keeping in mind the symmetrical weighting of the blaster, even if it's front heavy, and the availability of the base blaster on Amazon for $30 American. Meanwhile, paint would eliminate any aesthetic reasoning behind one's preference. And once you take out all the locks and rewire the blaster, one's preference on handling comes into play, and for me, it has a lot to do with how a 3d printed coupling rail would turn any modulus into a MasterKey blaster with the assistance of a Rough Cut (plenty more room to get that done). Modulus for the win.

For a modders point of view, Stryfe for beginners of its cheapness, also there is alot of mods for it. If your more experienced, the modulus is better, because there alot of space for prototype mods.

Does anyone know where you can buy a Stryfe these days for a reasonable price? Amazon has them for $60, but that is way too much for the Stryfe.

You forgot to mention that the Modulus can take Trustfires or IMR's without modification.

I think a big thing you didn't mention is the fact that you don't need to mod a modulus if you want to run IMRS or trustfires. All you have to do is throw in three trustfires and a dummy and you're good to go, while you have to open up and mod the stryfe to do the same. Not saying it's a deal breaker, but definitely something to note.

cost effectiveness, I would choose the stryfe, its 18-20 dollars, the modulus goes from 45-50.

U have a point, however, the stryfe with the orange coloring fits most attachments very well. Also, when modified the stryfe is a total beast, however i realize the same could be said for the modulus. Also, the price is a large factor. still out of the box, the modulus i agree is far better.

I can't remember if I have already commented on this, but the Stryfe has one pro over the Modulus. The sling/lanyard mounts. Another pro the Stryfe has over the Modulus, is the weight.

You forgot the rate of fire. The Stryfe's rate of fire is MONUMENTAL compared to the Modulus, which is about 4 darts per second (IN MY MEMORY)

The Modulus is good for arctic nerfwar zones (and also as a primary ofc) The Stryfe is good for Regular nerfwar (and a secondary ofc)

A stryfe (with attachments) can feel like a semi auto smg. A Stryfe (without attachments) can feel like a larger semi auto handgun. A Modulus ECS-10 can feel like a semi auto assault rifle.

i havent fired either, but imho being a smaller blaster with comparable functionality greatly outweighs color scheme or a ton of extra rails, since most attachments are functionally worth very little. it doesnt need a fore grip due to its compact nature, but you can still pop a grip blaster on its rail if you want to

i would always choose a stryfe over sa modulus because i run the stryfe as a secondary

Sometimes when using a 35 round drum in my modulus I put the modulus vertical grip on the side to hold it more comfortably

Coop772, I agree that we can disagree, but there's a middle ground, the stryfe does have tactical rails so you can put on the modules kits onto the stryfe. I agree that the white with orange and blue with orange does look a little tacky, but you can always paint your gun once you have everything the way you want it.

Colour shouldn't matter, you could paint it if you really care that much. Also, my modulus jams literally 40% (4/10) of the bullets in a ten round mag on average. If you want a good video, then do elite rhino fire vs mega mastodon.
