For anyone interested, the line here goes something like "Repent in hell!" (地獄で悔いろ!). The follow-up is roughly like "This flame will send you right there." (この炎で送ってやろう).
Fun Fact: Despite outward appearances Iori does NOT want to kill Kyo Iori "hates" Kyo the way Grimmjow "hates" Ichigo. They give them a suitable rival and a reason to go wild with their abilities. They won't admit it outright, but they lowkey respect their so-called bitter enemy. I remember Athena read Iori's mind once and asked herself that Iori would be lost without Kyo to focus on because he had such a craptastic childhood and the rivalry between them is the closest thing he has to a bond with anyone. In my opinion *THIS* is why Iori refuses to cure himself of the curse in the previous game Despite the fact that he is just as strong without it. While he could still fight, he would lose his blood bond to Kyo. Iori needs Kyo to stay sane. Without Kyo Iori would just dress as a woman and call himself Miss X all day
I agree with you, because in the Kyo vs Iori intro special, where Kyo says to Iori "Kagura told me to behave during the tournament, but this is too good to pass up." This is a moment as well as a form of respect for Kyo to Iori as a Rival and sworn enemy.
@@givemysundaebackThat's actually a genius theory. And the fact that SNK: Heroines is CANON. It's a nice hack for Iori since Yagami male heir die at a young age.
@@givemysundaeback Fun fact about Miss X. The reason he calls himself Miss X is because his last name Yagami begins with Y. So in reality he should be Miss Y. XY is the male chromosome So Miss XY translates to Miss Man
Hi. I played kof for years, and do not, key words Do Not Know jack schplikity shit about the main story and lore and i want to know all lore. Side stories, movies. The whole shaboing. Cause i wanna know why iori is also a dlc femboy in the snk heroines installment and how orochi plays a role because despite my love for the game, but i cannot for the life of me wrap my head around the story.
Also the way he screams is different, against a non Orochi person the scream is more high pitched and "wild", while against an orochi member his scream is Iori releasing all he has. And i could say something similar about the speech but Orochi's voice is so loud to hear a difference on Iori's voice.
interesting this detail Kyo's climax also has a difference, but it's a difference in his speech I noticed this when the climax is used on Yashiro or someone from the orochi team. he says kusanagi no kobushi wo. I tested the climax on other characters and Kyo doz something else.
In my headcannon the reason the orochi version doesn’t activate on team orochi is one orochi doesn’t want his own blood to hurt his supporters and two iori wants to punish them himself for the shit they tried to pull back in 97
That move was familiar to me is similar to the one he uses when he entered orochi state in snk vs capcom that after cutting or tearing with his claws he threw the opponent and made him explode
Wouldn't this happen to Leona as well? Since she also has Orochi'd blood he could partially manifest through her while under the Riot. Although I also see it unlikely as Leona has shown to have a way better control of her Orochi blood than Iori.
Iori fighting a non orochi is orochi briefly taking him over because orochi wants to hurt them, but because fighting an orochi character makes Iori not be taken over means orochi doesn't wanna hurt the ones who he took over in the past or it's because orochi has already taken over the other character. Either way,Iori does this to get back at them for what they did 25 years earlier back in kof 97.
In the update, Iori uses his climactic move on Goentiz and shows no red eyes when he uses his power on him for he will do anything to take down the heavenly kings and Orochi. They did a great showing the details on his climax move.
I'm not a native speaker but I believe he said "I'm gonna leave you buried in these flames" but it could be also something to the effect of "I'm gonna send you (to hell) with these flames".
@@JamicoDaniels a chinese channel said that "I dont need orochi's power anymore", but i dont buy it. I dont know japanese but i do heard something about flames. thank you for the translation
@@JamicoDaniels Same here no expert but I think he saying like?! “Im gonna make you eat these Flames“ *Kono Hono* sounds like *These Flames* *Okotuke Yarou* *I'm a force Feed you*
Um sorry to sound mean snk but where is orochi iori?🙄 i would've loved to use him he's even more powerful than regular iori even tho iori is still cool and powerful either way but still....😒💁🏻♂️ you didn't have to be a dikhead and not include orochi iori, orochi leona and orochi 😒
