Even though making money is a great thing to have, starting a RU-vid channel should be about finding your *passion* and turning it into videos. That way, you'll be much more inclined to be consistent since you genuinely enjoy what you do! 👌🏻
Absolutely agree. Your subject/niche has to be a passion, definitely makes the process of making RU-vid videos more enjoyable & also makes engaging with your community a joy as well.
Thanks for sharing! I do agree that if you love what you’re making videos about you’ll enjoy the process more and stick with it when you have those low motivation days.
This is pretty much a perfect beginners tutorial. No rambling on, all basics covered, easy to understand and to follow, just amazing. Kudos and thank you! 👍
I love this ! It really got me going with VSDC - I was having problems with it before. The language is clear, the division into sections or chapters on discrete topics is ideal for finding things a second or third time. I was up and running within a day. Highly recommended - who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks ?(75 and still learning - such fun). Thank you so much.
Just changing over to Davinci Resolve but thought I'd watch this to see what it offered. Looks much easier for someone starting out. And, as usual in your videos, I found things that apply to my work even though I'm not using this particular package. Thanks!!!
This is such a good free video editor. The amount of capabilities it offers and the fluidity of the software is amazing. I've had paid editors that didn't playback as well. It has similarities to others but, it's definitely set up a bit different so I ended up here. Thanks for this vid!
Finally someone who explains this to a beginner!! I just downloaded this software a few days ago and I am having a very hard time understanding how to use it. I even went to the "tutorial" on the VSDC website and YT and it was no help for me. I am completely new to editing and this software. Thanks for this!
I just downloaded it today, had no clue what to do until I watched this, and now I have edited my first video using it. But when I clicked on "export this project" completely different options appeared than the ones he shows.
Great video man! I used VSDC for 2 years before switching to Resolve, and never knew I could be doing slow motion!!! That would've really changed things for me! I agree, the way they expand each clip into its own timeline sort of when you add effects is a little weird, but still, it's a pretty powerful software for someone just starting out. Thanks for taking the time to make a tutorial!
Hi! We add new tools every few months, and we actually upgraded the slow motion feature with reframing modes a bit more than a year ago. So yes, you can easily achieve a perfect slow motion effect even after decreasing your video's frame rate drastically.
It was an amazing insight on the tool for a beginner like me. However if i had an opportunity to see the final exported video, it would have been even more helpful in terms of clarity.
Thank you for the video! It is extremely helpful. I have been using VSDC for a view months. I selected it from another one of your videos on editing software choices. I find out new things every time I watch your videos! Great Job!!
Been using VSDC for a couple of years. Subscription is extremely reasonable and affordable. Finally decided to watch a tutorial to see if I could pick up some tips and your video did not fail me. Thank you!
This is absolutely impressive. I’ve been watching a couple of videos on video editing and fortunately for me I received a notification on your new upload. I’m thrilled with tonnes of detailed info I ever needed. Thanks 🙏 for this video … much appreciated Sir Brown.
Thank you for this. I've been using VSDC for quite a while to help with content for work. It can feel like a clunky application at times, but as you said, it does provide a lot of control. I did pick up a couple of useful tips from this video, so it's much appreciated 👍
Downloaded this editor a week ago and if it wasn`t for your video I think I would have given up on it, I am 65 and a bit overwhelmed by all the new technology there is out there. But like I said your video has given me a basic understanding of this editor and I think it will serve me well with a few slideshows I want to do as well as some videos. So, thanks again and keep up the good work
I dropped in the exact place, what I needed. Your efforts are really awesome and clear to understand. Your Description Box is an added advantage. It's a TREASURE BOX 🎉. Thanks a lot dear! Subscribed just with the first video itself. Thanks a lot from India. ❤
Using your detailed steps I was able to grab a clip from a video I had. That is probably the most basic use of an editor but I've never come across a instruction that spelled it out so well. So I upgraded to the pro version. I also printed out the keyboard shortcuts to have handy. Thanks so much
Almost everything required for beginner !! This will be definitely helpful for me to save a lot of time bcos I was depending on video editing softwares in mobile till now . thank you. 👍👍
Thank goodness we can adjust the playback speed! I can't hear as fast as you can talk. But thank you for the excellent tutorial ...maybe cut back on the caffeine!! haha :)
It has been a while since i had used vsdc i am thinking of upgrading it now that you have reminded me. Thank you for the quick tutorial it's going to be a great help 😁.
Thank you so much. I opened VSDC and it looked like a whole other planet. I managed to create my video in around 2 hours (I had tried InVideo but you HAVE to upgrade to export. Just starting out so want to make sure I can actually do it before taking the leap. This video was SUPER informative and helpful
Spectacular! All this 4 FREE? Thank YOU very much VSDC It will take some time to explore all the potential of the FREE version, but then I will certainly upgrade to the PRO Version 👍👍👍
One of the best videos explaining the work in this not the easiest video editor. Please make detailed tutorials on how to work with mask and text in VSDC
I've been editing on my phone for a while and now I have decided to go and do things properly and I got this. I've seen the video and now the possibility are unreal 😍 really good tutorial
Just amazing! I've spent hours/days/weeks/ looking for the right - right for me - video editor AND the right guy to explain how to use it. I've just found it: VSDC + Justin Brown. I can uninstall all those useless apps that I tried and focus on this. Thank you so much Justin! I susbsribe, of course, and look further on your channel! Btw, any suggestion on how add a whiteboard?
Thank you for a great video! Very informative! I'm looking to create piano ensembles and need help syncing each video to each other so they all start at the same time. Any suggestions for that?
This video was super helpful my son is wanting to get into gaming videos for RU-vid but once I upload it in RU-vid gives me an error saying processing abandoned that upload file is invalid I did step by step on your video so I’m unsure what to do.
I edit my video by vsdc but I don't all thing in vsdc and my video is not good but after this video I do best. this video help me thank you. i have question for you can you tell me how to remove green screen for free online 99% best online remover
I'm staggered that a video editing software like this is free, it feels too good to be true. It reminds me a lot of Sony Vegas pro 11. I feel like I'm waiting for the catch. Will I only get a 30 day trial or something? I NEED this thing, I've been uninspired for a year now and felt a drop in the quality of my life not being able to be creative with videos. I don't want the bubble to burst.
Hey! I totally get where you're coming from. But VSDC Free Video Editor is indeed free without a 30-day trial catch. There is a Pro version with extra features, but the free version is fully functional and great for video editing. Hazel, PV Team
A going threw process so nicely explained and detailed that you learn without pains. This must be the 5th video I watch for beginners and far the best. You spot just on the basics that we need to acheive for our first ''court métrage'' 🤣🤣 Am gone spend lot of time with you 😉 as I WILL now do the practice and for sure will come back to you for more vidéos. Just a thing, ''you speak To fast'' despite I do appréciate your style Message from France. A bientôt, Cécile.
WOW Well done and Thanks, I had to slow it down a bit i have never used or done editing so a lot to take in. but its great i am 70 years old so things done soak in as fast ,,, LOL what a program WOW NICE :) and you explain it very good thanks. I subscribed also i will need your other advice,,,
Thank you! While this is the only one for now, we have additional video editing tutorials available that might help. Feel free to explore them! - Hazel, PV Team
This must have been one of the clearest and most to the point tutorials of any video editor program I have seen to date. Thanks Justin! Seems that this editor has a good workflow as well. I'm definitely going to try out! 👍
Awesome guide. One question I had is how would one adjust the music track volume up and down with time? Other software, like Pinnacle Studio, have keyframing that let you really fine tune the volume.
Hey Justin can u pls tell me the best free video editing software for creating commercial video ads for businesses..Would really appreciate your response... Thank you...
hello, thanks for the video. Can you suggest me any free version in PC to record my voice to streaming video and make it complete video which includes audio - that's my voice
