This is very interesting and Im so glad you started this series because I was kind of worried when starting my build. I wanted to see someone step by step build and results and this is fantastic and very thorough.
thank you for this important information.. i just bought this AAC hopup chamber and just waiting for it.. 1 question.. does it come with a nub?.. is the nub good? or should i get a better nub?
Mine came with a nub and functioned well although I was never able to test them at range, if you check out my other vid here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SgD5efmu-18.html You may see the parts that came with the unit, check description and click on the part that says Hop Up installation ^^
@@AirsoftAfterHours oh ok.. thanks for the info sir.. yup im watching your VSR build now hehe.. i gain lots of info on your build.. i have a AAC T10 that im building now and it is almost complete.. this AAC hop up chamber would complete it.. im just waiting for my order to arrive hehe..i too post video unboxing of some of my airsoft items...
The small rubber piece is the hop up nub, check out this video where i show you how to install everything ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SgD5efmu-18.html
Jacob If you mean you have a cylinder head that refuses to enter past the bb stoppers, it could be that the shape or size of your cylinder head is too abrupt, or even the stoppers are protruding too much into the chamber. Close observation of that area should diagnose the issue. If you mean that your cylinder head tip is physically too wide to enter the chamber, we’ve not seen that issue before and can only assume incompatibility between sizing (between parts made by differing manufacturers). Hope this helps and thanks for watching! ^^
@@AirsoftAfterHours I have to look at the AA hop up chamber because I might be able to open it a little bit. It's an AA cylinder with AA cylinder parts which is why I'm confused on why it wont fit into an AA hope up chamber
Krustywho It should work fine, we haven’t tried that cylinder head in this unit before so we can only guess but we’re guessing it should be fine. Thanks for watching!
interesting, iv also got 2 inbetweeners, lol, one with a small grub screw and no bottom hole an the other ( my latest one) with hole an no grub screw an the bb tabs are at a slightly wider angle cusing them to stick inside the housing no matter how tight the spring adjusters are tightened, even after using me best lube it still hapens, bit of a pain realy cos it means that if the gun is angled upwards 1 bb in every 6 or so bb's ends up moving backwards as the cylinder is pulled backwards into the space inbetween the hopup and cylinder head so when the bolt is racked forward it either smashes the bb or if ur lucky just stops the cylinder from reaching the hopup, you then have to remoove the mag loosin 3 bb's each time and spend a couple of mins trying to get it out without a trip to the car for disassembly lol
HexX Airsoft That’s sounds annoying as hell! On an install recent install, we experienced the BB stopper screws not screwing improperly causing the Hop Up unit to jam inside the outer barrel. After removing the unit and carefully screwing the screws in further we never experienced this issue anymore. Sounds like more investigating must be done with these units. A big complaint we hear with airsoft companys is whenever they release something, the customers are the beta testers 🤣🤣🤣 Any complaints on the forums will tell them what to modify 🤔
