Working the kinks out still on this foot clutch setup. This is a much stiffer clutch on a harsher angle then the 650 model. My kits are built to delete the use of a cable and replace with rod and levers for reliability.
There are foot clutch kits for other metric bikes (like the VLX600 for example) the use the stock heim joint on the back of the stock foot lever. The distance between the joint and pivot point is much smaller on the vlx then the Vstar and that’s one of the main set backs I’m working to figure out so my kit will allow more control over the clutch.
