In this video, I talk to you about a Vtech cordless phone that has no dial tone. If you are turning on your phone and it doesn't have a dial tone, then it means that you won't be able to make a phone call when you need to. With that being said, it is important to address it as quickly as possible so that you can make the phone call that you need to make whenever that time arises. I go over a few simple solutions, and hopefully one of them works for you to get your phone working once again.

Helped, thanks. It was the phone connecting cord, the one that clips in. I replaced it and got my dial tone back

My phone cannot hear anything when calling out. But when someone calling in, I can hear fine on both side, do you know what's going one

Hi I have this same phone, and I can't seem to figure out how 2 people can be on the line at the same time. For instance if someone calls for me and I'm say in the basement, but someone answers upstairs. If I try to to answer on the 2nd handset (in the basement), I get a " line in use" and it doesn't connect. So basically the person upstairs needs to run me the phone they answered on. Am I doing something wrong? My last vtech phone allowed me to simply press the talk button and it would work. thanks

We had a burst of hail, right after that, TV went out for a little while then it came back on, but my cordless says out of range since yesterday.

my new vtech base is plugged into wall tv jack works fine , the 2nd vtech i bought wont work never had to have my old 2nd and 3rd phone plugged into phone jack only power outlet , wont work

Never ever buy Vtech. Full of problems. Recommended Panasonic phones. No head ache. Just plug and talk.

U are so right. I had 4 Panasonic cordless phones that I bought used several years but the batteries kept draining and sometimes people on the other end couldn't hear me. So I figured I'd get me some new ones. Only came with 2 phones and a built in answering machine. Oh yea it wasn't taking my voice mails either. I have been trying for 3 days to get a dial tone with no luck Even after all the things he said to try that I had already tried. I guess I will have to plug my Panosonics back in.
