The Image of Vasilisa stepping in Baba Yaga's Vitae as the Ancient Methuselah met final death is so chilling, especially since the Vasilisa looks totally unfazed or disappointed, no damage was taken on them as even their clothes remain in total condition, they just step in the Crone's vitae and watch the methuselah meet final death with a look of total indifference. Really shows how powerful the Vasilisa is and probably the most powerful Methuselah (If it even is a Methuselah truly) to exist.

She earn my undying respect not because of her iron grip, not because her power, but because SHE immediately reject and outright fight her sire, an antediluvian, which he LITERALLY FLED then fought for the third time. Which show you how powerful she is, beside she can summon powerful demons ;)

Grandmother was a great character in the WoD. I remember reading of her first in 2nd ed & Children of the Inquisition as she was referenced innthe background of Durga Syn. She really gave a feeling of ancient horror. 2nd ed was fantastic IMO & while I wanted WW to write the story for the Final Nights I was very dissapointed in how much of that was handled. I just stumbled across this channel this week & you do a fantastic job writing this from the perspective of a very suspicious hunter, & I bet you are one hell of a GM. I woukd also be curious to know if you have put pen to paper & written any WoD or other fan fiction

I recently got into VtM. And I think it would be cool for the Witches from the Salem show, crossed over into the universe. I don't know if it breaks lore but I just think it would be interesting because the witches get their power from the devil and have similar powers to the vampire clans. And with Leopold it would be more interesting since they think vampires come from the devil.

In the Vampire novel that I am writing. Witches do exist in the universe that I am creating. Of course, I have changed the nature of witches a little bit. I still keep the Medieval depictions of them being demonic worshiping cannibals who make pacts with dark forces, but I wanted to add more to their mix. Where I wrote them as a subspecies of immortal Humans who need to feed on blood in order to retain their powers and immortality. They are mostly matriarchal in numbers, but Warlocks are born into their species just not as much as compared to Homo Sapiens. Due to their heritage, they have some sort of Unlife in them like Vampires, but unlike Vampires. Their dark gift gives them the power to bend reality, control nature, and even raise the dead. As they age they physically become less human and more haggard and frightening in appearance but are more powerful for the females, and the males devolve into abominable creatures to become one with the forest as they age. That one, I was inspired by ancient Slavic legends of the Leshy. I wrote Baba Yaga in this world I created, and she is like in those fairy tales that are designed to frighten children as depicted. She is cruel, satanistic in her disdain for religion, and an ancient powerful evil being, that will kill and eat the flesh of anyone who dares cross into her territory. Even her own fellow witches are afraid of her and her power and chose to leave her alone to not suffer from her wrath.

Her origins are not a mystery. Even her life pre-embrace is not.

So Vasilisa being still looking human means she was just recently turned. Since the Niktuku gets uglier the longer they lived, and the uglier they are the stronger they become.

I totally agree that they're destroying great classic stories and IP. But I have to admit the Prince in Snow White is mostly useless, he's just there to wake her up.... am I bad for recognising that?🤷‍♂️
