Ran it for about 3.5 hours, was really happy with that. Made the room much more comfortable.

I have the same. Is it normal that fans start even with the smallest of energy consumption? I connected to AC an electric blanket to the minimum and it consumes around 20W. The fans start and never shut. They are so loud all night.

About 4 hours......it worked well to cool it off before bedtime.....but not a long term solution unless hooked up to solar for charging as well. But it does run it

Oh KG......you really need to know how much power you use.....then you can shop for a unit that size. If camping and you want ALL the luxuries you need 3-5 kWh. But if using it for just lights, TV...but not a furnace or full time AC then you can use a unit this size.

In regards to the solar can you use other panels than the vtoman? The minimum required voltage is 30v up to 60v so I was thinking could I use 2 x 100w panels? Otherwise the ONLY choice is to purchase THEIR expensive solar panel which shouldn't be necessary as many of us have solar panels already.

Yes you can use any panel if it adds up to the right voltage and amps

Mine appears solar charging but won't take in watts, have to turn it off and on again, was using it with passthrough charging for a few days no issues, then is began to not solar charge. Weird glitch anyone else have this problen

Just don’t buy this. I had it for four months not used under 60 F not used hard just for USB units. And it went. TO TOP IT OFF THEY DO NOT HONOUR THEIR WARRANTY. NOT EVEN ATTEMPT 6:09 TO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY BAD!! AGAIN IF YOU BUY THIS I KNOW OF THREE ITHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THEM HONOURING THE WARRANTY.

Hey, thanks. I really like showing the units being used in real life. Sitting at a table plugging in heat guns and such is helpful for tech and specs, but using them for projects and around the property is really satisfying.

1500 watt hours worth. Look at your devices, figure out the draw of each amd do the math. It's going to vary depending on that.

Great presentation thanks, does the unit have pass through power? Having g solar connected and running the unit, also do you have to connect the panels in series when connected or can you connect x 2 200 wat solar panels separate? Again thanks for the presentation.

@@OffgridwithJayandJenso I recently found out that the Klein version is no longer being sold! Looking at VTOMAN seriously now as well as Jackery. Generac has some new ones out but I don't think they are pure sine wave. I clicked the link you provided because I'm hoping to help you guys out if you get a commission of some sort but the price looks weird. Must be in USD? Just seems very low cost compared to the price I see on Amazon. Anyway, blah blah blah.... still doing some research as it's a big purchase and I want to be sure. We'll let you know! Cheers! ✌️🍻

OK, I have a question. Every off-grid, homestead, cabin etc. you tube channel has done umteen reviews on solar generators. And which ever flavor of the day one they are reviewing is the best. So my question is, who really does sell the best bang for the buck solar generator?

You know Ron....honestly these videos are sponsored by the company....so how I work my videos they are not reviews. I do my research....make sure the product has a good reputation and product ( I do this by watching YT videos that review the product, test it, and see if it works well) if the product and company don't have junk.....I will do a video for them. We get hundreds of offers and emails about testing products and such....most of them are junk and bad companies, so we are sure to pass on working with those companies. MOST of the Power stations you see have many Review type videos out there by channels that solely do REVIEWS, I'm simply showing you something that can be useful for many folks who have off grid cabins, or camp, or travel, and like I said I make sure work with good companies. Honestly there are new developments and technology and SALES on these power station very often, so The VTOMAN has a Great offer going on now and they have a good product.....so if you need a power station make sure you check it out.

I don't have much experience with those heaters.....but most of these units have multiple different DC output options ......so even if the cig plug didn't have the amperage to run it, you could likely wire a different plug to work some how

It ran the AC for aboit 3.5 hours. It worked very nice to cool off the bedroom that night

I edited this video and cut that part out accidently, lol. It actually ran the AC unit for about 3.5 hours. 550 watts to run it and 1548 Wh of battery. I think it ran longer because once it got cooled off it was drawing less power
