I like how every Vtuber from Hololive,Nijisanji and other indie Vtubers are at war with this 1 Pokemon Vtuber lmao.

there are two unspoken rules with Iono: 1) all female vtubers will have some kind of rivalry with her 2) the chats of said vtubers are to cheer on Iono.

i can't believe Iono collabed with these unknown vtuber she is such a great streamer helping her fellow streamers get out there

Hearing people trying to pronounce Iono on the spot makes me realize that her name is "ion-O" and could probably be pronounced more like "iunno", as in "I dunno(don't know)", which is why her catch phrase is "Whosawhatsit, Iono!" like "Who is it? What is it? I don't know!" And then her electrical theming is because "ions" are atoms/molecules that have a non neutral electron charge and how Oxygen (O) ions are highly reactive and diffuse "positively", like a good streamer's positive attitude. Honestly one of the better performances by the naturalization and translation team.

I think Suisei and Aqua are the only ones who didn't get salty over Iono. The former just took the opportunity to plug Shout In Crisis, as expected of the VTuber who never fails to advertise herself.

Iono's got to be the best idea Gamefreak had in recent years. The fact that they managed to get her so goddamn accurate is honestly a miracle.

I can't believe I'm just now noticing this after rewatching the cutscene, but look at Iono's arms when she's in a shocked expression. With how her arms and the ends of the sleeves bend, they literally resemble the shape of thunderbolts.

Her Hair: Aqua's colors Serrated teeth: Baelz and Gura Oversized sweater: Laplus and Gura her vibrant colors: the one that stand out is bae, but a lot of Vtubers fit this aesthetic Her mismatched socks: most of Hololive have those. Her Magnemite Accessories: a lot of VTubers have pets that mimic the main model's facial expressions "Your eyeballs are mine!!!": Korone wants your Yubis (fingers)

While SV was hit and miss in alot of places, GF definitely knew what they were doing with Iono
