the natural progression of an evening listening to Vulf: start off by listeng to one of the concerts, then you go and watch the videos of the tracks they played, then the videos of the tracks that they didn't play, and then Jack's tutorial videos of the tracks that they didn't play, and the the Woody tutorials of the tracks that they didn't play, then the video of Richard Tee playing Strokin', and then it's wherever the algorithm takes you, probably back to another Vulf concert.
As a (funky) drummer since 1980, who has always appreciated keys and have been getting serious about it over the last few years, I can't tell you how much I love these tutorials. I only discovered Vulfpeck a couple of months ago and couldn't stop listening. Love the diversity and kindred influences from the greatest players and genres of music. Hope to see you guys when you come to the Catskills, NY in summer of 2020.
what type of keyboard do are you using? love the sounds you get. ive been covering 1612 with the wurly sound on my Yamaha Preface CP30. keep up the good work, love all of your tunez.
just make it yourself bro, sounds like saw/pulse combo with some slow vibrato, medium filter decay sweep with medium resonance, and a touch of delay and polyphonic portamento.
It's a Clav layered with a synth sound. The clav has got to be Scarbee for Kontakt (Jack actually showed that in the Superstition video but EU JÁ SABIA - It's the best sounding one around). As for the synth, I would guess it's some kind of Juno emulation or sth. Needless to say there's probably a Vulf Compressor and shit...
