I love how jack spends 10 years building an incredible band on the internet with amazing music, leading up to booking MSG without a label and performing to 15,000 people, puts on an incredible performance, and then just says “phenomenal” and walks off stage.

For somone undergoing depression and feeling lonely and helpless most time of the day, this single video has brought me back to life multiple times. Vulfpeck remind people about hope and joy. Guess that's the power of music and im glad there are people out there showing the world what music is about.

It's amazing how Ryan really almost makes the camera an additional instrument. Since he knows the song so well as a musician, he seems to know almost intuitively where to be to catch the action, or if things shift he recognizes it and adjusts quickly.

So my aunt passed away a couple days ago. She played a huge role in the early years of my life and was the first and only person who really pushed me to pursue my passion of becoming a professional drummer. I have been really struggling to processed her passing and I decided to follow along with the arena meditation in the middle of this show. I fully broke down, I'm really going to miss her but I know she is so proud of me and will be as my career develops. Thank you Jacks mom for helping me get through this

I've never heard of this band before but I've listened to this on repeat for 2 weeks now. I don't mean it lightly when I say this concert is life changing. You literally breathed life into me. I even bust out my drum kit after not playing in years. You made me fall in love with music (again!)

I'm going to say it. This is one of the best concerts. Ever. That I have seen. Musically wise but also in terms of entertainment. Jack Stratton really know how to conduct a crowd and make it really fun to participate.

What they pulled off at Madison Square Garden is unheard of in the music business. These guys booked MSG with no manager, major label support nada... Tickets were on sale for six months and it sold out before the actual concert. Good for them!!!

Fun fact: at 34:45 the cameraman hands the camera over to Theo for Baby I Don’t Know. That’s because the guy filming is Ryan Lerman, who wrote the song. Theo takes over the camera so Ryan can jam out to his own tune. You can see him on guitar in black by Cory during Baby I Don’t Know. Makes me smile.

The appreciation I have for this night is immeasurable. My partner and I drove 9 hours for my first trip to NYC so we could see this in person, AT MSG, ON her birthday - September 28th, 2019 - weeks before Covid was first discovered in NYC and the world shut down. This night feels like a literal lifetime ago - to be able to watch it now from Lerman's POV (or play the record) gives me all. the fucking. feels. THANK you, Vulfpeck 🥺

OK, so that was a completely transformative hour and 43 minutes of music. First time I've ever heard the band and I'm officially hooked. So much talent and funk coming off that stage it's just staggering. Multi-instrumentalists, killer vocalists, Cory Wong, that bass player (!), crazy talented guests and a celebratory upbeat atmosphere. What's not to love? Officially on my radar to see them live.

This video came up as a random recommendation after something completely unrelated, and curiosity nudged me to give it a click. 10 minutes in and I am in utter shock, joy, and bliss.
