I find many parallels between the Emperor and the Changing God from the Numenera narrative. I believe Vulkan has Old One gene stock. That is why he is a perpetual.

@@wolflordrho Konrad was the one who got the shortest stick in terms of combination of "lateral gifts" and "tutoring of use by the Emperor". Magnus got the full tutorial, Vulkan had some assistance or whatnot, but dog gamnit, Konrad, poor poor Konrad, all he ever wanted was a proper world with proper justice, not having to become the most terrifying version of Batman that a Drow Elf society could fathom - on top of seeing all the future, all the time. If only papa Emps had spent some considerate amount with Konrad, teaching him, mentoring him, he could become a true Paragon of Justice and use his gift in a proper way, to shape and mould, not through fear, but by law and order. Konrad's image should be next to the "Bad parenting" entry in a dictionary. Now that Emps is a bit in play again, oh yes, I can only imagine the face of Bobby G meeting a loyalist Night Haunter, heading a host of loyal primaris 8th legion marines to meet his brother in Ultramar. This could be even better than having Roboute meet Omegon and having that little "we did it because Cabal" talk.

Idk what he rlly could've done if he was with The Emperor. There was no room for terror tactics against demons and corrupted beings. Maybe behind lines activities but not the defense of the walls or just last line of defense

Then tack on dude was a insane close quarters fighter on par with the Lion himself. That's a wrap. The Night lords possessed some of the most elite shock troops in the Imperium, the leader of which was Sevatar. The best fighter in all the Imperium on par with Sigismund.

True. I'd settle with a more humane and caring Emperor in future lore, no need to rewrite the history of this universe. I would like to see Magnus return to the loyalist fold, however. That is entirely plausible. Perhaps helping his father with his psychic might by taking his place on the Golden Throne and that way redeeming himself and his legion.

I would give anything to see sanguinius restored.. but they can't do it... it literally undermines the entire ten thousand year journey of the blood angels All the stories... all the challenges and sacrifices... @@koriuk5032 it depend on how well written it is most of the good part of dark imperium is about how papa murf deal with the cult and his brother, we barely see the inpact on the murf react to papa murf return.

It could work if they came back broken versions of their original selves. Almost like different characters but the same name. So the previous iterations sacrifices or losses would still be felt. Go full pet cemetery…

Vulkan is standing guard in the Emperors throne room. Ready to stand as a final defender, because he believes Chaos will enter through the portal. Terra will only be destroyed if the Golden Throne fails, at which point it will self destruct. So maybe Vulkan will stop the demons from reaching the throne itself? We will find out in the Siege of Terra books soon! Sorry if I speak too fast in the videos! I get excited talking about the lore!

From what I gather, the talisman amplifies the power of the throne. It would destroy Terra as a side effect of making it a psychic doomsday weapon that would affect the warp and web way.
