i get some of the takes against the album but this album at least was coherent in the way that every single songs followed a samevibe w the ethereal production behind. although it is true that some of the mixing in songs like forever and my soul (and also poor lifestyle which was peak ye and wayne) were unnecessarily bad, i do think that most bangers in this lp make up for it. river is def one of the best songs ye has put out in a while and overall imo there are more songs in this lp im going to be replaying than the first vultures lp. kanye has long left his prime but his ideas do still creatively work for me in a way that i still respect his vision for the good songs he decides to put out. (also where is take off your dress and gun to my head ye😭)
Donda was definitely one of his best, my dad is inlove with that album, so I asked my dad to listen to the new Ye album with me on the 9th, should I like not 🤨
I haven't heard the full album yet but I've heard parts of it. . . Oh my God this is mind bogglingly bad. How is this the same guy who produced All Falls Down, Dark Fantasy, Roses, POWER, and No Church in the Wild?!
Imo most of the tracks had so much potential, and this would've definitely been a pretty good album if they actually took the time to work on all of the little flaws which eventually just added up to being unlistenable

I think we can all agree that like this shit is bottom ye, but I reject the idea that there are no good songs on here. Yes, I hate the mixing and some shit is off pound. However, songs like slide, river, promotion and time moving slow are like the primary highlights on this whole thing
