The original Power Point presentation was made for Winamac Kiwanis, June 2021. Music was added and it was converted to a video. The Pulaski County Historical Society is responsible for the content.
This building, listed as a National Historic Landmark, was built by Joseph D. Vurpillat, James Rhodes, architect, in 1883. The "brick block" building is Late Victorian, Second Empire, with a Mansard roof. The building is 46 feet by 90 feet, fronting south. It is three stories high with a partial basement and is built of brick with a limestone foundation. The roof has a slight pitch, peaked in the center, which allows water to drain to the sides and then toward the north end of the building.
The Pulaski County Historical Society owned the building from 2000 through 2020, when it was sold to One Eyed Jacks to be used as an event center. It is now known as Celebration Station.
