+Scott Cavill "a LOT" of mistakes? What mistakes? I think he missed a Cone of Cold, once. And he doesn't fakecast, if you consider that a mistake at all. I don't see any other mistakes. Don't say stuff like that without offering at least an example so people know what you're talking about.

I was alliance on sylvanas back in the day, facing Vurtne quite often in EPL. He was so severely undergeared, yet he smashed groups of us at a time. We used to chase him as a trio, more times than not he would 1v3... He was so far ahead of the curve it was insane, and a lot of fun. Reckognizing and remembering all the names that he's killing. Oh the memories

Doubt he'd suck. Vurtne was a pioneer who defined mage pvp through creativity, resourcefulness, quick reflexes and even quicker thinking. Would he come back? nah. Last I heard he was a model and had better things to do with his time lol. Besides, that time has passed.

When I played at wow (8 years ago), I watched this video a lot of time. I was an undead frost mage and you were my idol! In 2016 I'm still here to watch it :D. My favorites scenes 6:05 and 9:53

I remember so fondly back in 2005 when my friend showed me wow pvp videos of Otherguy for the very first time. I had never heard about wow, nor was I ever a gaming person as a kid. But man after that point, and after watching all vurtne's videos I was hooked and I'm still sitting here, playing mage, after my 10th anniversary of wow.... Funny innit?

@@MrScrax If i remember correctly .. in 60-67 PvP he fights way better than here. Plus in BC players were already knowing how to fight properly so it's a much better PvP movie.

I'm convinced Vurtne was a time traveler. He was doing things in Vanilla that people wouldn't pull off for another 5-10 years regularly. It just doesn't make sense that he comprehended the game mechanics so perfectly near the beginning of the games lifespan. Truly a inspiring player.

For those new and future children who will discover this game. 2:01 what happens there is basically losing a duel right away, he took the dreamfoil, that would make anyone mad and killing him won't be enough to quench that anger.

I would call his backpedaling "smart one" like the 0,5sec the rogue vanish, a usual player would maybe not backpedal but would do nothing instead, still better to backpedal during those. if you see what I mean.

still cant believe when i was playing on Sylvanas during vanilla and Frostmane during TBC i assumed there were people like Vurtne and on every server, prob for the best i woulda been a shit fanboy tbh, too bad i was too young to know what i was doing back then... 40~ days /played it took me to get my first 60 up i think... i did a whole lot of tarren mill pvp and waiting outside of wsg battleground entrance all day @ low lvl, while playing a balance druid before moonkin was in the game (hurricane was the end talent for balance tree :SSS)

Well, I assume you watched Pat's AB movie, but that one was a pure crit-montage, released on the purpose of showing the best damage warriors were capable of :) No skill-show intended, he had a couple pocket healers and each kind of buffs including the potions which were like 15-20g each back in those days. Watch his previous videos, you can't say he wasn't a skilled player :P Wedding style is different, IMHO he is somewhat similar to Vurtne, their movies are 90% ENTERTAINMENT, 10% pvp actions :)
