This wreck of an early Volkswagen T1 Bus was rescued in December 2020. Hard to see on the video, but the body metal is very thin (rusted) and wobly. Please remind that, before commenting. =)
The Funny thing is, people always want to see Barnfinds, but I personally think, wood finds - in german Waldfund or Waldfunde - are much more interesting to discover and to rescue. Of course the conditions of Barn finds are much more satisfying. The second video of this particular early Volkswagen Microbus is going to be launchen in december 2021, end of the year, be prepared to watch this Kombi getting back on its feet, with the wooden fram it gets first.
Split window Volkswagen wreck in the forest, the vintage bus from the early 50s was saved in Austria. Frame and body mostly rusted out. But in this crazy old " Urbus " world, it's not a Barn find , but still awesome the parts of it survived between the trees so long. As a Barnfind this splitbus might have been more complete, but early aircooled stuff always needs to be pulled out. =)
