Looking good! It's nice to watch someone build a bus while I'm building mine. I really like the interior panels - think I will put them in my panel bus as it really helps finish off the interior. Thank you as always for sharing your techniques and skills! 👍

Hey Mike,went to do a clip with the camera. Boy what a pain that was gave up at the end as it just slows you down.So really appreciate the time you take in showing us a different style of repair with great results .Waiting for the bucket truck:)

Looking great! I like how it's turning out. I used Luan plywood and polyshades polyurethane on my Sundial interior.. I was reviewing a few of your other videos while building my new 1835 thick wall engine for my bus.

campers. kombi vans, Panel trucks, came painted. standard, and delux came chrome.

Any updates on this bus? The cherrypicker bus and other projects seemed to have sidelined this one which what happens when you have lots of projects. Looking forward to seeing the interior done for this one. Keep up the great content Mike!

Its all very well that you put sound insulation inside the van but then you self-defeated it by installing wooden panels which are "hard" surfaces and dont deaden any sounds inside the van. You probably created echo chambers between those panels and van body. .

Mike, I know you live in SoCal, but do you know of an insulative material to put between the Frost King aluminum and the wood paneling, other than fiberglass batting? I was out in the HiBearN8R the other day and at -20 below zero, it was still on the chilly side. Ideas? Thx🤙

Maybe I missed it in the video, but: What are you spraying the wood with? How many coats? How did you secure the panels? You mention in another comment clips instead of screws? Not sure I've seen those kind of clips before, or are they the push clips?

I bought some panels and traced them. you can use butcher paper tape them up on the doors and use carbon paper to rub the details. Take a piece of carbon paper you can get it from office depot or staples, and rub it around the edges holes or any other details you need. Works great. I buy butcher paper by the huge roll it is not cheap.

yea sort of there are some limitations on that. you might want to do a test area and sand it to see how the other paint reacts. I have used it on signs in the field and then recoated with sign 2 part urethane.
