Right… I actually was sitting waiting for this video to upload 😆. I was supposed to be at a meal with friends at 18:30… I told them I was going to be a little late 😂 And I have to say it was well worth the wait 😮 over and above any expectations I had 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I can’t thank you enough for taking my caddy on, especially as you know how needy I can be 😂 Can’t wait to see what surprises the next update brings 😃 Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you
Hey Darren sorry for the delay mate, so glad you’re happy with the outcome. Always appreciate your input and support. Hopefully you’re happy with the next load of work. Thank you as always mate 🙏🙏
No need to squint, she's looking mint. Looks very nice Nath. Good work mate. Air box needs to be replaced with something none Factory maybe. Hope he's having red springs when you do the coil overs.
Hey Nathan, great work, a real show car! I really want to paint something on my car. It doesn't matter what and whether it makes sense, I'll start with the rusty trailer hitch. It's terrible, you've really infected me. "Some shiny black always look good". So true... Regards Greg
Owner will be made up buddy outstanding job you have done there as usual attention to detail is fantastic you should be proud, c u at blue water in a couple of weeks 😊
Darren's van is looking nice, the work you've done has really made a difference. Great work. Fingers crossed the new project vehicle works out, Mk1 Caddy???
Thank you for the video Nathan. Absolute perfection you achieved there mate 👌. Looking forward to the next video and the next project - ah ye. Have a great weekend 👍.
Ah… see I had mk4 lights but I seem to prefer these. Some people have described them as looking the same as a Toyota prius or an old Lexus😂 But I like them… and they do look better when they’re on.
Mate, you know your stuff!!! Top class work. Bluewater boys have got it all sorted, mechanic, painter, detailer 👏👏👏 Also loved the European trip videos. See you at the next caddy meet. 👍👍
I can’t believe you left us on a cliff hanger!! What’s the new project!?!?!? Excited to see that! Your attention to detail is mega! If I ever have a chance to have you work on mine I’ll be a happy chap! As always enjoying the videos and looking forward to the next one! Cheers man!
I wished you lived closer, I could do with a perfectionist mechanic like yourself. Love watching your Vlogs, and again a stunning job. You should have your own show on @discoveychannel 👏👏👏👏👏👌
Nathan, you’re a true craftsman 👌🏽 👨🏼🎨 What an absolutely epic job! You should be really proud of the work you’ve done fella, you’ve outdone yourself here! 🚗 Also, new VeeDub project…? Yes please! 🤩
Thank you I really appreciate the kind words 🙏 it’s all I’ve ever done since leaving school and I still enjoy it, I still like the outcome of jobs. I have picked up the new project 😊
Pukka vlog as always. Great job on the edition 30. Your vans looking mint as well. Wish I still had my custom caddy. Just out of interest would you be able to machine Polish my latest project. I have a 500bhp golf r 7.5 estate. Kind regards Martin. Keep up the great vids
Nathan excellent work. Wish you were here in Germany. You replaced Darren's Stainless Steel screws with those awesome new ones and the red washers. Please give me the link to them so I can try to get them here in Germany. Keep up the good work.
The engine mount bolts are torque to yeild bolts and should be replaced every time. Had to sort out quite a few where they have snapped due to being reused.
Hey bud I know they are a replacement bolt, I’ve never had one snap on me but I have seen others fail and I believe they wernt done up tight enough as I think they had been moving causing them to fail. I will mention this to the owner thow. Thanks bud 👍
Makes me want a caddy!!!! But I have my t5, I want to put some arch trims on the t5 like you wish to do on your caddy and the white caddy has. But people comment say they hold/trap water and moisture accelerating rusty arches. Anyway to combat this Nathan? Another top video great attention to detail by yourself !
If water can drain out the bottom of the arch rather than being glued on all the way round then I think they would be ok, just tape or glue all the way round the side and leave the bottom with none on 👍 I think that should do it
Nice mate, tastefully done and not to much bling, attention to detail is second to none, is there a place you recommend to get those marine grade stainless bolts
Thanks Jim 👍 I just buy random stuff like that off eBay, type 316 stainless bolts and look for the sizes you want. 50 of these counter sunk ones where £6 delivered 😊
Beautiful van great attention from detail from you and the owner. Manifold looks bit like a Japaneses style flag 😂 but super cool. Is the number plate individual letters or a plate?
I'm moving back to the UK, just had to sell my Mk3 facelift seriously missing it. Love the VR6 conversion, prefer it to the 2.5 swap, does he have all the bits an pieces working eg air-conditioning etc correctly?
This is an original caddy edition 30 from the factory... they only made 117 for the UK market. And now I'm putting my little touches to it, and as it's now got the 3.2 engine I thought I'd upgrade it to the edition 3.2 😀
The are Vw touran mouldings 👍 some are one piece and smooth, the ones on this van are the better twin colour ones. I believe the black part is normally chrome
I do carry the correct number plate that clips onto the grill just in case… to be honest, I don’t really drive it all that much only 3000 miles last year
