And I was able to get a Certified one with less than 25,000 miles on it for less than 20k. I'm testing my buddies MK7 Golf R Manual on Friday and he has a custom setup, with a remote valve! I want to see what he has and maybe work off that.
Hi Stu, getting myself a CC over here in Ireland soon in the new year ! First thing I'm doing is a custom exhaust with nice Merc C class AMG style quads, the 2016 version, you should look them up I think they would look both mean and elegant for the CC, also please get rid of that muffler before the tips and rip off that Middle box after the CAT, that V6 turbo needs to be heard !!

Infact I may change up my suspension in the future...the coils are a bit too stiff - my wife doesn't appreciate them haha!
Stu! I'm new to the channel and I'm really enjoy the content. Just picked up my second VW (2017 GLI). Had a basic Jetta and fell in love with VW so I had to upgrade. Thanks for all the vids. Really helps with ideas for modding my GLI and for considering a CC for a daily. I've already put tons of miles on my GLI.
I know that it has been a while since you made this video, but i am looking at a set of 18x9 apr wheels with the same tire and suspension setup that you have in this video for daily driving. What ET would you recommend? Looking to pull the trigger soon, so you input would be greatly appreciated.
I have been using Americans Tire and for awhile and have always been treated well. Been running the 245/35/19 on the Passat and now have them on the Alltrack and I can't imagine having a different size tire. I like the meat on the tire. Next up suspension...

Thanks Buddy! Love what your doing w your CC. Wish I would to be able to collect enough $ to move mine forward. Still Im looking to see where i can get the best bang for the buck in the event I I have bucks. Im mostly interested in suspension. Im happy with the 2.0 T engine. I want to start by get her tighter on the road. She just hit 93K and I want another 100K out of her. Great post and I think the sway bars could be first. Happy & Safe trails all.
+uttz9 thanks for the great comment!! I think the perfect setup on a daily driver CC is Eibach springs and an H&R rear sway bar. I think those 2 things will give the perfect amount of increased handling without sacrificing ride quality. Also a CTS Turbo intake will give you some nice engine noise for not that much $$. Thanks for sharing! Love the wheels for that car. Mine is approaching 95.000 not sure if I should put much into it either way i don't have much $ to put in. Just put P7's on her and for the roads i drive they are the best yet. If I can get it unto date on maintenance I would like get bushings, coils and a sway bar. Then Ill go for APR stage 1 tuning. I agree with the sentiment that tires can really help make a FWD turbo car. Autocrossed my GTI for the second time this last weekend and I ruined the stock all season tires sliding around cones.

I've been looking around for a new wheel and tire setup for my '13 CC, and was wondering how you were able to have your setup clear properly? What offset are on your Turbomac's and did you have to roll your fenders/cut any of the fender liner out?
I have ran many different setups. I had 19x9.5 et45 Forgestar Deep concave. Currently on the Neuspeed RSE-10 wheels, 19x9 et40. Turbomacs were 18x9 et37 on my TT-RS and then had 5mm shaved from the backpad to run them on my CC, making them et42. I also ran Fifteen52 Podium wheels in 19x8.5 et45. All of these setups I ran with a 7mm spacer up front and sometimes with a 3mm spacer out back. My fenders are rolled in the front, and the fender liner is trimmed; nothing to do in the rear. There is more room up front, and the rear has a lot of camber adjustment. I would run 245/35/19 size tires and 19x9 et 45 or a 19x8.5 et 45. Always easier to add spacers if you have extra clearance to dial in the fitment, instead of going to aggresive with offset and tire choice.
Sounds like it has the same grip problem as my 2016 Passat GTE. Can't wait to see your CC with dual exhaust. Would custom look somewhat like what you could've gotten on CC or did you mean quad?
Whoa, I LOVE the Passat GTE!! I wish they sold those in the US. I meant quad exhaust for my CC. Currently I basically just have some oval tips, we just changed the back muffler so the tips would fit. Gonna try and go quad before the end of the year. Just need to decide on the right tips!! So many options!!!
Hey Stu, you've driven plenty of performance oriented cars and exotics. Would you rate the CC as a fun, sporty satisfying daily? I'm considering the first gen as a daily. Also good choice on the turbomac. I prefer the beefy tire look, just looks so functional and race oriented.
Thanks bro!!! I also really like Tarmac's on these cars too! I do consider the car a satisfying daily. It was because of my CC that I stopped driving my TT-RS so much. The CC was comfortable, and after you mod it a little bit, its really fun. Fav mod is the intake to get the turbo noise. From there I would probably just get Eibach springs and nice wheels/tires and maybe a tune. To me, that's the perfect daily. I will say I have a pretty bad dash trim rattle. I've had my shop fix it once, but it has returned again. Just an FYI, but no car is perfect. These are such a good vailue, even the older B6 Passats and Passat wagon too which the CC is based off of.
Hi Wheelie, i drive a 2013 VW CC with a 2.0 TDI - 170 hp. I don't like so much the steering wheel to be honest, even in sport mode i find it not sharp enough. I was thinking that tires could improve things. I am having a 17"/40/245. Does the 18"/40/255 improve things really that much to make the car feel a lot more fun? I like to enjoy my CC like you do XD cause it looks so damn beautiful but let's me down with the steering... :/
Yo Mark!!! I like Discount Tire too, but they don't do installs. Plus I like the tire warranty service from Americas Tire Co. Even though every time I buy it I don't need it; and every time I don't buy it, I do need it haha.
I have a 2011 R-Line 2.0t. DSG. Not a fan of the CC 2013 and up uninspired refresh after VW replaced that great looking 3 piece front bumper with a Jetta bumper. Also the humdrum front and rear lights. Must have been a money saving consolidation thing. Not cool Volkswagen. And the Arteon is in no way a replacement for the CC.
cc = 33 definitely freemason. i'm in santa rosa north of san rafael i love corrado so much and am going crazy because i did not buy a black on black 93 out of stockton 6 months ago it had a blown head gasket but was mint i'm trying to find it now but no luck i lost the guys number i'm sure he sold but to who is the question.
