Wow what a great journey! I'm super impressed with the amount of work and prep you guys have done so far in all your videos. It is starting to take shape and look the part, realistically it is a blessing to be able to work on it in stages so you can see what works for you in your layout and adapt or make changes. It will be interesting to see how you combat the sealed spaces to allow air circulation between components. I have been watching some great 8020 aluminium profile van builds for bridging areas like your galley kitchen, shower and under the bed etc, lightweight but ultra strong for creating individual modules that are accessible / servicable mounts for your tank, solar, inverter etc. Can't wait to see more!
Thanks for following the build 🙏🙏. Weirdly I have just been experimenting with the aluminium profile today I will post a pic in a minute. I am building a bike pull out draw for the garage. First impressions are good but not as light as I hoped. Hoping the 20/20 profile is a lot lighter than the 30/30. Hopefully have a video for the bike draw in a couple of weeks. 🤘
@@abucklife Nice! apparently the 2020 is a lot lighter due to the thickness of the inner walls, plus there are a load of fixtures for it compared to the 3030. As long as anything weight bearing such as the draw runners are heavy duty, some angle or double bracings across any long bridges it should work fine. Looking forward to see it. From what I have seen if each of the modules are stand alone it makes it a lot stronger and easier to maintain.
@@M8T1-RDT I hope so. Weight is going to be an issue. I am going to order some to get going with it. Once the bike tray, water tanks and bed are in then it’s kitchen and bathroom structure.
