I watched loads of your garden room building videos a couple of years ago which helped me build mine and it's still standing and working great. I'm now doing a van conversion so when I saw some of these videos had to watch. Luckily for my floor I have the old boards that were down to copy so no scribing for me. Good to hear your thoughts on vapour barriers though. I was really undecided on that but think I'm not gonna do a vapour barrier.

You are the first person I have seen put the floor down the correct way 👍 no need for battens , it just creates a thermal bridge and a lot of work that's not necessary

Coming on great now mate, don't forget to take the outside trim off and seal all the clips up otherwise you'll end up with damp behind the walls and could end up with mold.

Keep going, it can get you down, I'm 2 yrs in on my build, mainly due to finances. I can confirm the van has no straight walls you're best of taking all measurements and square from floor

Would it help, I wonder, to stuff some rubber strip or foam strip in the gap between the van and the edge of the plywood?
