Very helpful, my golf 6 radio randomly comes on after the key is removed or even when I open a door. People suggest ignition switch which led me here. Have heard of this problem?

Čau , mám chybové kódy 00883, 00884 , 00885, 01744 ... Vyměnil jsem switch ale auto stále nestartuje, je možné že je problém že u kódu dílů je na konci písmeno B? Jinak po výměně kódy se neukazují .
Hi, can you kindly say what was the problem with ignition that you had to open it, was it the key that was not turning and did you put a new switch to fix it. I have a VW Turan 2009 model and the key doesn’t turn, can someone advise or know if I change the switch as it was done in the video will resolve my problem. Thanks
Mine did the same yesterday. The key got stuck and wouldn't turn off. I loosened the steering adjustment lock and kind of shook the steering up n down and gave it a few taps while gently trying to turn the key. The key eventually turned off. I went back after doing a victory dance and then again tried turning the lock back to the on position. I did this a few times and it eventually got better. Its working fine now. @@TomA-kd4sk mine eventually got stuck again after a few days and then I just decided to replace the entire lock. I tried to repair mine but I couldn't get all the bits out so I just replaced it. Have a look at the link I posted initially and try that first if you'd like. Like I said, I couldn't get all the bits out of mine because it was stuck real bad. But hopefully you'll manage to repair yours. Let me know how it goes.
@@TomA-kd4sk its usually a piece of metal that wears down or breaks off. . . . .I think its the part that prevents you from turning the key when the car is already running. So that wears down or breaks off and then jams the lock. So if you do manage to repair the lock, that safety feature will no longer be there. . . . .which would've been totally ok with me.
Minimal Life it needed a new ignition switch and fitting cost me 110 uk pounds. But the installer forgot to attach the automatic gearbox sensor which suppose to sit on top of the ignition and connects to it. This overlooked resulted the PRNDS was flushing at once as the car computer management could not sense gear selected/selection. Whereas in normality it only show/illuminate selected gear’s associated letter.
@@marsu191 hey. Mine ended up being the electronic rack and pinion being bad and locked. I hit the silver housing with a rubber mallet and it freed the rack enough to drive and get fixed.
cześć mam mały problem z golfem5 2006 1.9 tdi po uruchomienu silm nika na zimnym chodzi ok jak się zagrzeje do 90 stopni też jest ok ale moiędzy tymi wskazaniami silnik kuleje nierówne obroty dodatkowo po zagrzaniu silnika na wolnych obrotach jest ok ale jadąc i przyspieszając zamula i albo brak jest mocy albo normalnie przyspiesza wiem że piszę po polsku i masz prawo nie odpisywać ale jak byś mógł to pomusz bo moi mechanicy wymienili już rozrząd wałek rozrządu uszczelki pompowtrysków a poprawy jak nie było tak nie ma i nawet nie zweryfikowali usterki vcds- em.
