With two onboard cams, I record everything important to show you High-Speed-Runs, Acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ) and test drives on German Autobahn or Roads. Please note, Germany is the country of "no speed limit" highways / Autobahn. So in some places, it's allowed to drive top speed. If you want to do this by youtself, you are welcome to visit Germany. That wasn't necessary with that Mercedes. There was traffic in front and he did speed up, so maybe he didn't expect you to be so fast which can happen. Not too much to blame. You could have at least flashed your lights or used your left blinker and give the man/woman a chance to do things the right way. Here you just overtook immediately even without the use of blinkers. Everybody has their bad moments sometimes ;)

Flashing lights is WORSE here in Germany. The mercedes did see the GTI long time ago, he didnt move on purpose. But im wiht you, GTI did not right either.

@@PM-wt3ye it depends. Germans are quite ok with their flashing. Angry Slavs or Mediterraneans flash constantly without any reason. When the reasons are obvious it's quite effective when done in the right way. It alerts and can be noticed easily. I don't mind being honked or flashed at when not noticing something I should've.

@@AndrewSmith-sy7ws I suppose you wrote that to me? Driving is a serious business, especially when you want to do it fast. Then you have to be extra cautious. You can't be serious and alert enough when driving. Speed isn't the problem. Not using your lights and eyes in the right way is. To drive fast (180kph+)you have to show you are capable of doing everything you would have done at the speed of 100kph minding the speed difference in the process. If you can't then you shouldn't drive fast. If that's crying for you, then you clearly don't have a driver's license or there is some other kind of problem with you and your driving.

@@armenantonian2370 No, it IS a GTI, FWD. The R32 and R are AWD Golfs. The VR6 may have been 6 cylinders, but in a small footprint engine layout, almost like a 4. It's a GTI alright.

259 kph = 161 mph, pretty darn fast. In North America, standard Golfs are electronically speed-limited to 200 kph (124 mph). Stock non-modified North American GTIs and Golf Rs are limited to 155 mph (249 kph).

Pulls right with 200kmh to overtake right lane with only 12kmh more (like a fuckin lorry), just to brake immediatly -40kmh after overtaking because of traffic he obviously didnt watch. If people don’t want to be undertaken they shouldn’t be in the wrong lane. Sometimes indicating serves no purpose especially if you are driving much faster than traffic. As for loosing traction didn’t see any understeer going on.

I have the same car MK7.5 GTi performance MY2019. This beast is awesome. But I drive it only one time to V-Max (261 km/h), and I don’t enjoy it. It’s to fast for me and to much work on German autobahn, where is always traffic. Now I enjoy the acceleration and the sound. Best car I ever had

Meine Erfahrung ist tatsache, dass es fast immer Sterne sind, die mit 180 die linke Spur blockieren. Sogar mal ein Rentner in seinem SL500, als ob er nicht schneller könnte. Man war das ne Schlange dahinter xD

@@MotoMario1 ich fahre aus Prinzip nie über 180, auch wenn ich links überhole. Und wenn auf der mittleren und Rechten Spur viele Autos sind fahre ich auch Mal mehrere Minuten lang mit "nur" 160-180. Wenn das andere stört ist das halt deren Pech. Gibt schließlich keine Mindestgeschwindigkeit auf der linken Spur... Und Zeitverlust gibt es dadurch auch kaum. Es gibt mehrere Studien die belegen dass wenn durchsnittliche Langstrecken (also mit und ohne Geschwindigkeits Begrenzung, mit etwas Stau, Stadtverkehr, Landesstraßen und Bundesstraßen) mit 220-240 statt 160-180 gefahren werden, man im Endeffekt trotzdem nur wenige Sekunden bis wenige Minuten früher ankommt. Selbst der, der auf ner 500 Kilometer Strecke auf der Autobahn nur 130 fuhr, kam lediglich eine halbe Stunde nach dem der 240 fuhr an. Hat dabei aber nur die Hälfte an Spritt verbraucht.

It really is how incredible GTi cars have quickly become. I have the Golf Sportsvan 1.5 Turbo with 180 PS (tuned), automatic transmission and it is incredibly fast, at least for a family car ... ofcourse untill to 220 km..

Scheiß mal auf den Mercedes der links geblieben ist.. Finde deine Fahrweise um einiges schlimmer... Auf Kamera kommt der abstand nie richtig rüber und so wie du hinter dem Mercedes gefahren bist, ihn rechts überholt hast und kurz vor ihm einscherst.. Sorry aber da bist meiner Meinung nach du der rücksichtslose... Dazu dann noch die Aktion vor dem abfahren der Autobahn... Ou man.. Nichts für ungut aber muss man sowas noch auf RU-vid zeigen?

Have the MK 7.1 GTI 230hp and i love it. One thing is the ratio of the gearbox: - manual gearbox at 100kph is at 2300rpm - automatic (DSG) at 100kph is at 1900rpm For traveling longer distances i whish my manual gearbox has the ratio of the DSG.

Da kann man locker 15 bis 20kmh des Tachowerts abziehen. Mit 230ps ist es schon physikalisch kaum möglich so schnell zu fahren bei der Aerodynamik. Mal was anderes, der gute Handschalter, vermisse ich etwas seit dem DSG :)

@@puffelchen513 ja ich weiß, wäre aber trotzdem nicht so gefährlich wie rechts so schnell zu überholen. Also ich hab meinen Führerschein schon 10 Jahre und seit dem noch nie 1 Punkt bekommen, Strafzettel oder einen Unfall gebaut 😉 Und ich weiß nicht, wie und wo du deutsch gelernt hast. Car-vids-random there is an difference between an automatic which you drive in manual mode and a true manual... when you drive an automatic on manual it will upshift as soon as you hit the limiter. The manual on the other hand can’t shift up so it would hit the rev limiter and the car can’t do anything about it.

Mit 210 rechts überholen, einscheren und abbremsen....alle Achtung! So Typen sollte man den Lappen abnehmen. 230PS im kleinen Golf und meint er wäre Graf Koks und kann sich alles erlauben. Absoluter Spritzer Total unnötig, Autobahn super leer, aber keine Geduld 20sec zu warten.
