Hi, I need some help please. I completed the oxygen sensor learned values reset procedure; then, I looked for the test of oxygen sensor entry but I couldn't find it. the ide00886 includes a lambda test. Now, my readings are half red. what can I do?
Purpose of this procedure is simple, in case you dont know, this is the response to the previous video where he wasnt able to set the readiness values of oxygen sensor. I think these procedure also applies if some faulty sensors like oxygen, dpf, boost pressure etc... was replaced and after that the readiness code cannot be set correctly.. this should be related to "car learned values" which are stored in memmory and in order to set the new correct readiness values you need to clear the old once first.
Guys help me in golf 5, check engine light is on, problem is in the knox sensor, can I disable the check engine using a vcds adapter so the check engine doesn't burn out?
Hi I have had the orange engine light on my Golf 7 97000km 1.6 TDI 115hp for a few weeks, after diagnosis I have error p2000 (NOx line 1 - performance below the threshold), The vehicle drives perfectly without loss of performance. If I clear the error, it comes back after about 150 km. I changed the lambda probe before the catalyst, but the problem is still there... sorry for writing, I'm from France because I couldn't find anything about this error code outside the forums. I suspect ECU learning values of old O2 sensor and adjust to it..if slowly failed values would slowly shift wrong way.. when you put new O2 sensor and use old shifted values ecu woul not be calibrated correctly to work with it in most efficient manner. My thoughts
