Love it. My Golf GTI was a A 1984 (8v) Lhasa Green small bumper. Wow i loved it. I only sold it about 12yrs ago. Im a big VAG fan and with being disabled now i have a Škoda Karoq. Good luck with the Golf mate and keep the videos coming. Great channel . Cheers.
This was my car! It was sold to my friend who I think you had brought it from. It had BBS RM deep dish wheels, original g60 arches, g60 front brakes, coilovers, eibach anti roll bars, front strut brace, single headlight conversion, electric window’s conversion, Clifford cat 1 alarm with sensors. The steering wheel was original in my ownership. You’ve done a good job restoring but gutted to see all the upgrades reversed 😢 P.s. if you’re ever selling it, I would love to buy it back!
Well done 👍! It seems that VW’s have a way of getting under your skin. I currently own a 2019 GTI, last of the knobs and switch models, one of best cars I ever owned. RickGTI…
Looks lovely, the only thing that I could see that was "wrong" (ie, not OEM) was the painted door mirrors. They're supposed to be matt black plastic, unpainted. Get a period Blaupunkt stereo in there too! :)
Wow! beautiful mk2 👍👍 its lovely well done for the dedication and hardwork which has gone into this. It seems we have all fell in love with these cars, been through the modding phase and now appreciate them in standard/oem + form and that they definitely get under your skin! Very satisfying to see you also own a Porsche too, which confirms that these mk's must be pretty good! 👍 My own mk2 16v is nowhere near as nice as yours, i'm happy with the used and worn aspect of it even though it is very presentable it will never be classed as a show winner but i love it 👍👍 *P.S thats a 16v steering wheel isn't it.🤔
