@@MrWaheedulHaque so nice of you to reply and in the 12 years I have had the car it’s never displayed before but today whilst trying to park between 2 cars me going back and forth I must have pressed something with my hand for it to have come on,so I spent most of my day looking for the book that tells you but you just have and nothing to worry about thank you.tomorrow I’ll try and figure out how to turn it off,the light is pretty annoying.

Your alloys might have been changed, i know mine was off by like 2 or 3mph as my car had much bigger alloys then the car came with. Only way to sort this out is to get it coded by someone who knows how to do it

does the bluetooth option come up on the MFD?

That is very odd have you tried to soft reset it by holding the power button down till it restarts, only other thing i can think of if that doesnt work is to take the rcd 330 out let it sit unplugged for 20 to 30 minute, then plug back it back in, if not work then i guess contact the place you got it from

@@MrWaheedulHaque i have tried the power button as well as holding the setup button. It does not respond. I’ll give that a go

No it is very old, i mean you can always go to a custom shop to do it for you but will cost thousands

Did you set it up?, so pop it in reverse lower the mirror while in reverse then put back in drive see if mirror goes back up, also make sure u have selected left or right mirror as the middle setting doesnt allow this to work

@@MrWaheedulHaque yeah I have the “mirror down” setting enabled and I have it selected to the left side but one I put it into reverse it doesn’t bring down the mirror

@@uymxv you just need to set it up like i said pop the car in reverse then lower the mirror to where you want it to be when in reverse, then put in park should go back up and should work fine then

@@MrWaheedulHaque ok I put it on the left side put in reverse selected where I wanted it to be and then I put it back in park and it didn’t move and when I went back to reverse it still didn’t mean

You can't on this car unless you modify the ecu, only bmw show like that

Yes car is from uk, but as it is a german car they come default with kmph instead of mph, only way to change is to use a coder

You have to do this through your entertainment display or screen. Some cars dont have bluetooth on the system so you would have to buy a new system that has bluetooth in it

reset what the mile counter? or the full thing, if u want reset full thing just disconnect battery for 15 mins and reconnect it will reset

@@MrWaheedulHaque reset the consuption. Is it possible to just reset it without zeroing the mile counter?

Yes hold the end of the stalk down it clears the mpg
