Thanks for this video. I first watched your channel about a month ago when you reviewed the MG4 (possibly my next car). I live in the Netherlands and it sounds like our driving conditions are very similar to yours (cold rain in the winter, flat landscape, lots of small country roads with little traffic). So your videos show me a real vision of what my experience with an EV here will be. Tuisend tak!
It's the first time I have seen any of your videos. The main reason for looking was because you featured my next car! Anytime anyone has a video on the ID Buzz, I am interested to hear and see their opinion! Thank you for the insight, I will not be able to get my hands on one, or see one in the flesh until maybe 2024, Cyprus isn't big on EVs. But at least it will give me the opportunity to buy the biggest battery and probably twin motor, as I think it will be a car I will own forever! Especially with the price it will cost!!
Thanks for the video, Jimi. I am looking forward to seeing this vehicle in Australia. Both my wife and I are interested in buying one. I wish you a Merry Christmas.
Thank You very much. My wife and I Are also thinking about it, but for now our 2022 Skoda Enyaq must drive Some more first. Also a marry Christmas to You om the other side of the World 😊 Thanks for watching 😊
I had the chance to sit in a Buzz and it put a huge smile on my face, if I had lots more money, it’s the family car I would buy. It would be perfect for going on holiday. Oh well, I can dream
It was fun to drive it and I liked it. I would really like to have it as a taxi, but no heat pump is a big draw back. As a taxi driver I often work 10-12 hours. When it is minus 10 C like now in Oslo, much of the battery will be used to warm up a big car. My Opel Ampera- e could drive 450 km in the summer but only 250 km in the winter and I had to turn on and of the heat. With my Kia e-Niro and my recent car, Hyundai Ioniq 5, I can drive 350 km for at least 10 hours. The Kia and the Hyundai drive 530 km in the summer. One issue is also the height to get into the car. I drive a lot of elderly people who do not like buzzes - and Tesla S and 3.
Dear Jimi, many thanks for your excellent review of the ID BUZZ. Kindly let me know about the extra tyre/spare tyre placement in the buzz as the front wheels are smaller to the rear...Are there two spares to accommodate the front wheel or the rear wheel as the differ in their sizes? Can you charge your buzz at home? Are public charging expensive? Many thanks for your time and expertise/knowledge about the new ID BUZZ. Congratulations to you & your loved ones!!
Thanks a lot. In the car There is an repair kit for the Wheels. A pump and som foam to pump intro the damaged wheel. Fast charging can vary greatly in price. In Denmark you can make a subscriptions to get fast charging cheaper. It is only relevant for those who use these chargers often. I don't do that myself. On the long trip, electric cars are often more expensive than fossil cars, but if you charge them at home, electric cars are the cheapest to operate. Thats how it is in Denmark? Thanks for watching
Do you have pricing info?! Rumor has it that it will hit the US market starting at Mid $70,000 dollars which would put it way out of range for most US buyers.
it is difficult to give prices on the channel as I am trying to reach viewers with interest in electric cars in most of the world. Here in Denmark, prices start at DKK 490,000 and the car in the video costs approx. DKK 635.000.
@@jimirosa Thank you for that info. I understand your reservations about your global audience, but no car review can be considered complete without price information!! I can understand if the OEM has not yet released pricing, but if the car is for sale, that's "material" information that should be disclosed. Without a price, consumers are unable to compare other EVs, especially with a few startups offering small commercial Vans which offer similar functionality to ID Buzz.
Tænkte også, da jeg så at der kommer videoer på engelsk. End dansker der (forsøger) at snakke engelsk, kan godt være tåkrumende, men det er meget bedre end frygtet. Bliv endelig ved. Så bliver du over tesla bjørn.
Yes! I have owned Skoda Enyaq, Volvo XC40 P8 Recharge and Tesla Model Y. The ID. BUZZ is my favorit, but I can’t get hold of one in the next 8-10 months…
the question that i keep asking myself is how do ppl pay for a car like this its easy 70.000€ Lets say you drive tis car for 8 years (96m) bechose of the battery going downhill from there. then its 70.000/96= 729€ per month (for a car.... this is more than i pay for my house) dont be fooled with balloons bechose you pay the same if you calculate it. and you even end up with nothing when your balloon runs out Pay part 3 or buy new 1 meaning investing your original capital again example simulation on the VW site with Carcredit id buzz 71K input 20.000€ 59month 535€ last payment 31500€ or dump the car ans start over. (20.000+(59*535))/59= 874€ thats when you cant pay it and need to pay intresed.... this is making my head spin! this has ofcourse nothing to do with this good review of the car, keep it up and looking forward to the next review
It obviously depends on your needs. It was fine for me, but I can easily see your point. Fortunately, the car's charging curve is quite good. But yeah, it's not the most efficient EV in the world... Thanks for watching .
@@jimirosa The drag coefficient is the ratio of the drag force to product of fluid dynamic head and the frontal area. It is a pseudo constant. What changes are the dynamic head and the resulting drag force since the area is a constant. A drag coefficient of 0.28 for the iD Buzz is impressive.
There's not numerous things when you consider the drag coefficient of the car. It is what it is. There are more things when you consider the drag of the car, one of them is drag coefficient.
Hi there. Right now my English RU-vid channel is just an experiment. therefore, I would like to keep it at that, for now. Thank you for your interest in my videos
The Multivan is OK, but the Buzz quickly resembles a clowns car. Fun for children, but to drive around in it yourself all day... Nein Danke! Furthermore, the Buzz is very expensive. A little dressed up, two tone paint + nice wheels, quickly towards the 70-75K...
