That’s the lock cylinder ignition switch is the white plastic piece on the other end

I used the measurements from my repair book exactly like yours and it wouldn't budge. It looked like yours didn't either , at first. How long did it take to get it out ? I see your drill bit didn't hit the right part of the spring just like mine didn't. I am going to to drill more holes on either side of the original.
