Great video to stop your screwdriver chewing up the rest of the door handle get some masking tape 3 or 4 layers and run it just over the edge where switch goes into the panel, and it should pop out without any damage to the surrounding panel, just tried it and it worked a treat
Hint...try the switch for correct operation before you clip it in. It's a PITA if you have to go through the whole thing again, just because the new one is faulty.
