VW PASSAT 1.8 TSI Muffler Delete - Sound Results 

I’m finishing the video tomorrow. I think I have a conclusion as to what to do. Got everything finished. I’m very pleased. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon the video will be posted. I have a conflicting opinion. But both are good. I think you will like the results. Thanks again 👍🏼

Yea I’m experimenting with the sound. Still trying to decide. I may delete the resonator and replace that with a small thru muffler then get a performance muffler of some type to replace the muffler I deleted. Still trying to decide. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. 👍🏼

Yeah I think the best sounding thus far is probably the magnaflo.. bout the best u can make a 4 cylinder sound

Thanks for the comment. I will be adding a muffler that’s not loud like the kids. I mentioned that in the video. Also I added a subwoofer to my factory stereo. Much better. But the head unit sucks. I thought about adding a nice touch screen with Apple car play. That’s another expense 🤣. But I hear ya as far as the young folks and their loud cars. I just want to end up with moderate sound. No plans for the radio yet but I did an overview video of the subwoofer I installed. Thanks again 👍🏼

Aftermarket mufflers are cheap. Mine was only $115.

Awesome thanks for watching. Yea I’m between flowmaster flow fx. And flowmaster super 44. I may go with the flow Tx because it’s only $50. Listen to videos with it. It’s not obnoxious but sounds deep. The super 44 is nice but I’m not sure how it would work with the Passat. Whatever muffler I get I’m gonna put that on and if I don’t like the way it sounds I’m going to delete the resonator in another video so there may be two additional videos instead of one. I’m just waiting on a few parts right now and I should have a video posted hopefully by the end of the weekend or the first of the week I just need to decide what muffler.
