My rental Passt was driving me crazy until I saw this video. Who would have thought that the reset button was in the glove compartment. Thanks for your help!!!
I never realized you had multiple channels - I think there would be some value in linking your other channels in each video's description. This such a fantastic resource!
I have a 2012 Passat, and I don't think using ABS for measuring tire pressure is as reliable as using actual TPMS sensors. I've had to reset it several times.
Check your "oil level" in the transmission..a good idea is to get the transmission "serviced" by replacing the filter and the oil in the transmission(not to be confused with ENGINE oil and filter) 🤔..if it makes a racket whilst driving, then you've probably got an internal transmission issue..Email if you need further assistance; 53sandylane@googlemail.com
Please consider doing a video on the function of Traction Control System System in 2015 VW Passat and its feedback to the engine as of 2014-15 model in United States (and before in Canada and Europe. It shuts my car down, can't shift, drive, engine sputter since 5-6 Mike's after buying and having new tires installed. Possibly damage ti tire sensors or thrown off factory Traction settings on tires or Traction box bad? No knows here knows how to fix it, even foreign auto repair shop. Traction light on first and back end shaking side to side like falling off on dry pavement conditions. Engine shut off. Restated car to get home a few blocks. Next, engine light on two blocks from home. Now, start car and Traction says malfunctioning words with Tractikn warning light plus engine light plus other lights cone on. Car sputters and dies after 2-3 minutes. Cannot shift automatic as shifting light on too.
I'm renting a 2022 passat and the rental people said "Don't worry about the tire light, every VW we have the light never goes off" lol. Guess I will fix it myself
