VW cars catch fault only if you try to save some bucks by getting it serviced by roadside mechanics. Otherwise, they seldom cause any major trouble. Yes, the ABS sensor was a common issue but their mpi & tdi were as reliable as any Honda Toyota. I have an 11 yr old 1.25 lac km old Polo too. Still in day 1-like condition. Completely agree sir.. I too own 2011 Polo Trendline TDI... All 12 services done at ASC.. Still drives like new... 140kmph feeels like 100kmph in hyundai or maruti... Happy driving... Taigun and virtud build quality no match to 2009 to 2014 polo.... Mileage city bangalore with AC 18kmpl highways 23kmpl with AC avg speed 120 kmph..... Just follow manual instructions... I've a 10yrs old Jetta TDI in delhi and it's still as good as new one. No match for the built quality and driving dynamics. I won't scrap it even after 20 more yrs.
I have a 2010 polo pepper grey highline, 2lakh plus driven….till date have changed headlights, front shocks and steering rack…thts all n drives like new…dont think i will ever sell it…probably one of the best built vehicles ever to hit india…the best part is it still gives me the same mileage as it gave on day one…its a legend of a car 🚗

I compare the overall experience of Polo with other cars in my family & i have Suzuki, Honda, Toyota. Service cost is some thing that depends upon driving conditions, driving habits & various other parameters. But if you are driving VW group (Skoda Included) cars in proper manners and on good roads then after 1 year or 15000 kms you have to pay around 7500-8000 for petrol.

I have 1.2mpi Polo comfortline 2013 model, but mine has clocked only 72k kms, no minor issues faced till date. Didn't find any proper upgrade from this car under 30lakhs. So, was planning to upgrade to Octavia but now since its got discontinued, will have to increase the budget for 3series or AMG GLA.

भाई मेरे पास 2012 का पोलो हाइलाइन डिझेल मॉडल है। मैने शोरूम से लिया है। पिछले महीने में स्पीड ब्रेकर पे अचानक से एक मारुति एर्टिगा ने मेरे गाड़ी को पीछे से टक्कर मारी। उसमे मेरी गाड़ी का सिर्फ मडगार्ड टूटा है लेकिन इसके बाद मैं 2000 किलोमीटर चल के आया। उस हादसे में मारुति एर्टिगा का बहोत ही ज्यादा नुकसान हुवा। उसका मशीन, अगला पहिया रेडिएटर इटरकुलर बोनेट बम्पर आगे का पूरा शो ही बेकार हो गया। मुझे वह देखके अपनी गाड़ी ओर घमंड हुवा था। एर्टिगा के मुकाबले मेरा कुछ भी नुकसान नाही था। सुरक्षा के बारे में पूरे वर्ल्ड में इसका मुकाबला नही है। इसका मुकाबला किसी भी गाड़ी के साथ नही हो सकता। गाड़ी एक नबर है। मैं इसे पूरे 15 साल बाद भी बेचनेके बारे में सोचूंगा।
Delhi don't have salty climate so can easily run any car for 10years but when it comes to Mumbai it make difference. Most of the car in Mumbai cars start rusting in 4 5 years. But have looking polo in same salty climate for 10years almost 250000 kms.Still running.

2lakh km is breakin period for toyota honda. If you drive it all the time they easily go past 9lakh km on original engine. I have seen tata zest taxis with 4lakh 5lakh km . Suzuki dzire with 6lakh km. Some tata sumos have 999999 on their odo. My own etios has 1.4lakh & not a single engine part replaced out side of filters fluids & sparkplugs. 1.4lakh is still in the breakin period for etios as i have seen them taxi's with 9lakh km. On original engine. There are lots & lots of innova's qualiss with 10lakh km.
Received a few problems like the glow plug issue and a few check lights on and off but still no problem in the running of the car. It’s on its second clutch plate which was changed after 1l kms. I’ve gotten a few upgrades after receiving the car from my dad like the GTI grill full music system led lights, fitted fog lamps because I wanted more powerful lights. And still I think that it’s worth spending every penny on it.
🥲still I miss a few un-upgradable features like the lock unlock button key, no airbags, no rear power windows, fog lamp button not in place (as it was not stock you need to get it fixed separately) , no abs (both abs and airbags aren’t my necessary but just to name them). 😂so many things I’ve changed on this car that my dad says I shlokas rather buy a high line. Still every friend of mine trusts this car more than any brand new car that anyone brings. It’s the car compared by any other car in my group

I have a polo 2011 highline which is still in immaculate condition. Just changed the clutch plates in all these years. Time to change the steering wheel rack, mounts and tie rod ends. I will not part with my VW Polo.
Experience: Drove from Louisvillle to Columbus OH just after a snow storm in a brand new Passat from Enterprise rent a car. All cars skidded on black ice conditions not Passat. Will never forget that exp.
My swift was running very best until last couple of months. I completed 3lakhs 84000. after that i got issues with engine 😢 i fixed it and now it’s running fine again. Now it’s running fine now current running is 4lakhs 11256. Some times we get lucky

European automobile industry mey funda ehai ki gadi ka weight kam karo is ka matlab ye nahi safety kam karo.
