The diesel is pokey but the petrol more fun to drive

Production ends soon with no replacement planned. Shame as a great car, I owned one some time ago and loved it, scirocco could be a future classic

yes I heard production is to end and no replacement planned, a mistake by VW

The Scirocco is based on the Mk5 previous generation Golf so its long in the tooth now and sales are diminishing. As 4x4's are the main area of growth these days its unlikely that there will be a new Scirocco any time soon.

Taking a 2012 2.0 L TDi for a test drive tomorrow with hope of actually buying it, it's an automatic also which will be new for me 🤙🏻

I would like some opinion, i am looking to buy a scirocco 2.0 TSI 2010 YEAR, Manual Gearbox. What's your thoughts for -Fuel economy 2.0 TSI Petrol -Mechanical Reliability -Gearbox Transmission( I heard that every so and then sciroccos have some Transmission failure or pistons but i think are talking for 1.4 auto transmission and not for manual gearbox )

How do the paddle shifts work? Is there a mode where you can just leave the car to change up and down for you? just purchased one myself but don't get it until August

K S just leave the central gear selector in D and it does all the gears for you, I very rarely ever used the paddle shift - great car you'll enjoy it !
