I filmed an amazing Volkswagen Scirroco R on the Nordschleife! It's fully modified for track use with a roll cage, bucket seats, special exhaust system and I'm guessing a whole lot more modifications. It sounds and looks great and has a great backfiring noise when shifting! I hope you like it! Thanks for watching!

The noise is the ecu cutting the spark to take drive away from the gearbox so it can shift up a gear. This is the sound made by most turbo cars with a double clutch gearbox.

I too love the Scirocco (this a long term love, as I have one since april 2009 and still loving it). Also with DSG and many farts on the menu thanks to the 3" downpipe. But mine ast stock catback, so doesn't sound as great as that on the video. I would love to have an akrapovik exhaust, they sound very nice but are so expensive.

Dat is die raeder sport scirocco, bestaat hier ook een filmpje van met ene met een m3 die erachter bleef want die kon niet voorbij omdat die scirocco zo snel is

mooie video, klinkt best goed vind het geluid na loop van tijd wat saai worden bij deze auto. Op basis van wat maak jij de keuze wanneer je naar de ring gaat om te spotten? Ik wil binnekort er eens naartoe gaan maar weet niet op welke dagen het gezellig druk is, mis heb je tips?
