I’ve an 85 w 4 ft crank sunroof. Do the bar slide w/o much fiddling around to enjoy the convertible part

Sure. you can actually move the slats to make 2 solid platforms at the front and rear of the roof so you have a nice open space for the sunroof. Jed

Anywhere I can get just the clips that attach the rack to the van? I have an unusually high roof and need to do a custom job.

Do you run into any problems with your awning being on the rack rather than on the van. Is the extra elevation an issue ?
