With a 1/4 mile drag event this weekend, I decided to get the boost turned up a little as I'm not going to get a chance to get it mapped properly until the 3" exhaust and idle control valve are fitted next week. Conservative timing for safety with just 212whp at the mo, but a lot more power to come.

VW Vanlife Thanks VW Vanlife! The time was 15.4 with this old setup! I’ve got a 6 speed gearbox & another 100bhp to add soon so I’m looking forward to some dry days soon 😎

VW Vanlife Hey, I’ll be going to the event at Santa Pod on the 22nd April as the T17 Club is having an annual meet so it should be good fun! Just hope the 6 speed box & LSD are sorted by then!

That's difficult to say, I've never really measured it. It's not bad at all, probably 30mpg? It's basically double ish what my CLS55 AMG used to drink.

You can tune the 2.5 up to about 200bhp, for more get a 1.9PD or 1.8T. You can tune the 2.5 but it's quite expensive. For better advice join the "T17Club" on Facebook 😎👍

you can install second turbina and you can "pump" 'brains" of your engine. But not forgets about belts of your engine

Awesome dont know why more people arn't doing 1.8t conversion hundreads of thousands of cheap 1.8t golfs and tt's about for the engine and loads cheaper than a tdi rebuild etc...

Hi Bud, I have the AET 262 380hp rated turbo and high flow manifold, 680cc injectors, forged rods and pistons. All can be seen in my earlier build vids :-)
