VW t4 handbrake cable

Please could you clarify whether the handbrake should be up or down when you're putting the nut back on? I got a bit lost when you were talking about notches. Did you mean pulled up by three clicks? Great video by the way!

How did you get the spring on? I ordered a new one and it’s way too stif
