For T6.1 OWNERS - according to my knowledge the process is the same but the flash file is different. I will post a link to the flash file here when I get hold of it.
COMPONENTS:
+ Telestart receiver: 3Q0963513 or 3Q0963513A
+ Matching remote control (any of these): 3G0963511, 3G0963511A, 3G0963511B, 3G0963511C, 3G0963511D, 3G0963511E
+ Connector for Telestart module: 6Q0972706 (cheap on aliexpress)
+ Pin for the red connector: 000979035E (MCON 1.2 to 0,75 mm²) (cheap on aliexpress)
+ Piggyback fuse connector (cheap on aliexpress)
+ Telestart Antenna (cheap on aliexpress - search for “antenna fakra”)
+ 1A fuse in a local store.
In case you need a spare pin for the main connector on the webasto unit (in case you don’t have a green-white wire under the seat) - just buy a spare connector&pins kit 968303-1B (cheap on aliexpress). The kit will contain the rubber grommets as well.

Curious, are there any comms over the comms cable or is it just applying 12V? I do not really need the remote, I just need a way to turn on the parking heater without engine on. Also, after pressing on, how long does it run for?

Hello Eugene! This video inspired me to install remote control on my van t6gp. I've installed 3Q0963513A. It works without reflashing the heater ecu. However, now I dont have an antenna. Could you kindly help, what frequency fits 3Q0963513/3Q0963513A (with A)? I have searched "antenna FAKRA" but in the video you mentioned 2:29 "worked really well...slightly different frequency ". Anyway, thank you very much! This was the first retrofitting in my life and your video helped me really well!

Hi. what do you mean T6gp? Do you mean T6.1? Don't bother about the frequency, just buy the fakra antenna on ali and try it. It worked really well for me and it only costs 3 euro including shipping. By the way, there is no difference between the reciever with/without A at the end.

@busbits Eugene, yes , t6.1, just found out that in ELSA the production naming is T6 GP so I typed the same. About the antenna I can buy any antenna even if the seller declares that frequency range is between 800-2500 MHz?

Bad to start a car and let it idle for long.. Start it let it run 30 seconds and drive slowly.. More fuel efficient and warms up way faster, 15 minutes for a warm cabin at -15c

That's why it is very important to have a parking heater. The engine warms up and you can start the engine after its warm and drive properly right away.

Please read the description and watch the video carefully. This is important. Go for either Telestart receiver: 3Q0963513 or 3Q0963513A. Don't go for others, I explained in the video why
