Fog lights seem like a glaring omission on an otherwise handsome front end. VW is not a luxury brand, but it always seems as if they go out of their way to remind you of that. Like the already obsolete Gen. 1 HUD, or the soft touch on the front door sills but not on the back. Definitely feel you should be able to choose sports seats or not. Those in the true R version just seem ugly, and out of place. Those seats in the Tiguan R should be extra adjustable, such as lumbar and bolsters. Being able to "dial in" your comfort depending on the driving mode, is most important in a performance version. Also, there's nothing wrong with animal hides as long as its not from an animal that's rare or endangered. There are plenty of cow to go around, and they get pampered lives.
I have 2.0 bi-tdi tiguan with 240hp and i still can't sell it and buy a new one (like tiguan FL or Q3) because all new suvs are less power motorisation , 190hp max. Why they does not put a V6/V5 TDI with more than 300hp like engines on S4 and S5 or something like that?
Because when they start the production they plan to sell a lot of them also in Europe and here more power means more TAXES ! And more taxes means less market ! As simple as that !

Hard to disagree. Great exterior. Both Good looking cars, fake exhausts apart on the R Line. Interior a real disappointment, just cant order one with it. What a shame
