Thanks for the help DB. I stuck a piece of gaffer tape at the back of the glass carrier (over the hole) to stop the plastic pins pushing all the way through. Worked quite well.
Thank you sir, for your video. We have the same problem in our Touran, and I'll try this fix as soon as possible. Frustrating little plastic pin! :) Something so small opening up so much work!
You have to push the panel up a bit and release it from the bottom first then it should como out a little. Is not going to come out all the way unless you drill the rivets.
not really, as the whole thing is one unit sort of thing so your window will mechanism will either get damage or rattle a lot every time you open or close the window...
