The Tig has one of the most straightforward reset methods of any car. None of the "pump the gas five times and say magic words" like some cars. Just scroll down the menu and hit reset. Simple.
My friend, not all Tiguan are equip or pre installed with a reset choices. To do it manually take your key inside the vehicle, hold 0.0/set and start/off button.DO NOT START YOUR VEHICLE! It will take you to the reset menu and you can reset the vehicle service light.
Thank you for this review! Someone just shared this video on my channel on a Tiguan review I made. There's several Volkswagen reviews that I've made for people to watch, but this video right here in helpful. Great job. I'm assuming you own a Tiguan?
The key piece of information I learned from this video: The method for resetting the message for your specific Tiguan will be in the beginning of your Owner's Manual. His was on page 24. Mine was on page 30. It is in the section that talks about the indicator messages. There will be a sub section that describes how to reset them for your vehicle.
Hi EJ. I have a question for you. My car for the past week been showing a warning that reads oil pressure. Engine off. Or something like that. I used the reader and it's coming with the code P0341. Would you have any idea what this fix would entail? Today the check engine light came on. Should I be worried to have to pay the dealer $150 just for them to diagnose it and then whatever they would charge me or could this be something i can fix myself? I just got an oil change i. September and all I've driven since is to work and to the stores near by. My oil mark is at the first low line. How could this be in 2 months. Is this normal?
