Gotta say.. I’m fairly new to trading and I’m not one to leave comments on RU-vid but I felt the need to genuinely thank you. I was getting beaten down by the markets for a while and was starting to lose confidence in myself and considered giving up. Your videos, especially this one, are a huge help and confidence booster. So thank you and keep up the awesome work!
VWAP is perfect for day trading. However, sometimes I use Pivot point (Fibonacci type) daily to get an idea of daily support and resistance levels. Also, I use MACD for perfect entry and exit. BTW, your videos are really helpful. Appreciated 🙂
@@Frederick0220 the center line is VWAP, the top and bottom one is upper and lower bands, by default that bands are set to 1, I prefer using the band 2 as it works well for me for entry and exit.

@@Frederick0220 for tradingview, just type VWWP and go for inbuilt indicator, not made by other developer. However, the design of VWAP changes with different platforms.
My favorite indicator is People: taxi drivers, barbers, never-bought-a-stock kinda people. When they start talking about stocks, funds, coins, etc, I get prepared to short :) when they show no interest I go long.

I'm a newbie. I'm using VWAP along with MACD and RIS. Using MACD and RIS is opening up my intuition and ability to see upward and downward trends. It especially helps my entry timing on trend reversal. I traded Carvarna Co. today 06-03-23. it was +8.70 (56.02%) Prev close15.53 Open 18.82 High26.09 Low17.63 Closed 24.23. I felt like I was stealing as I was in my pajama typing on a keyboard and making money. Low17.63

hi, can you teach me how to setup vwap by using trading view, i don't get it how to setup the period and what so ever, it seems different with what you showed here. thanks in advanced.
Thanks for a great explanation of how you use VWAP. I've added VWAP to my chart, and noticed something interesting. I have used a 200ma to signify bullish or bearish sentiment. VWAP follows the 200 pretty closely on a 1min chart, but when it diverges it is showing the trend is weakening, and warning of a potential change in trend. On higher tf charts, VWAP is not usually close to the 200ma, but the divergence is still something apparent.
If you find the need (I don't BTW) to use a long term moving average on a one minute chart think about using multiples of 60 (as in one hour) so a 180 or 240 average makes more sense than 200. Just a thought.

@HumbledTraderOffical can you do some analysis on nifty and bank nifty ( indian indices ). Not for any particular day, just generally how vwap can be used for other markets also.
Good Thursday H.T. Great video for VWAP. I use it and RSI only. I think of VWAP as the double center line on the highway of profits driving your Toyota down a big mountain towards the Lambo dealership 🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎 at the bottom. Do Not Pass during VWAP .. just put on cruise control and let it ride 🚙

Bottom line seems like let it bounce 2-3 times if unsure, and draw the short term trendline around vwap on the candles to determine where it's headed next before using your entry criteria. Personally with the strategy I'm following I only buy VWAP bounces when they sit right inside of my major zones. Otherwise I only use VWAP as a take profit target.

Been using MACD along with RSI with some success. . ( more Lambo $) and even though I rarely short, I use options primarily to make my daily wage. Yes, I've fallen into a few short traps midday (mostly cut I get board when stock goes sideways) so I'll use VWAP for a few weeks. I'll let you know if I can make a better wage 🙂. My favorite indicator in BollingerPercentB. It’s like RSI but quicker and better. I notice with VWAP though it only seems to work on very short time frames.

I like this content. Those 3 tips I need to remember with VWAP. I think if traders can use this advice and really closely scrutinized the behavior of price action (mainly if it seems bullish or bearish at the time) then this could help make more green days $$
Great video and teaching! It seems like VWAP is only good for short time frames, 1 hour or under. If you use VWAP on a higher time frame, 4 hours and up, it doesn't seem to work. Is this correct?
