How do you change the keyboard on these watches? I have the DW99 and there is a 'simple input method' app in the app store that comes with it. However, even when installed and selected in settings/manage keyboards, it still uses the default 'gboard'. You can't delete or disable gboard because it's a system app. Can't figure it out!
Hi, does the vwar DW99 have the Android version of (Android full) or the (Android Go) version? I'm asking because my CDS9 Ultra is having issues with app notification permissions and accessibility services. I can't even install apps like Miui-ify or others that require accessibility to show on top of other apps. Thanks in advance.
Wonderful and precise comparison, exactly what I was looking for, thank you! As the owner of an ancient but extremely powerful Android watch AN1 (from 2014 !) I am looking for a replacement, as its battery is dead and Android 4.0 is hopelessly outdated. The CD10 is more attractive to me in your feature comparison, fits my taste and needs better. Albeit BOTH of these modern watches seem to miss a lot of the old AN1 functionality: I do not see a magnetic compass, I do not see an FM radio, there is no microSD slot etc. My biggest concern is the probably locked OS, ie. I do not see whether these new watches are ROOTED (allowing access to the \Data area), for full control of the operating system? Would the Magisk tool work to open these watches up for SuperSU control? I like to fiddle with my wrist watches, try to install all practical apps on them, turning them into a full blown computer. My tweaked and modded AN1 had 150+ apps installed and could even measure radioactivity with a modified built-in camera and a unique university project application. Will a CD10 from 2024 ever get as far as a decade old $50 Android watch could go??! Thanks!

Can you also recommend me a case that will fit? I of course took the full black version and have already also ordered some metal band and also nylon bands. According to the manufacturer, the S9 ultra has at least 32 GB ROM. However, the CD10 in your video is only 2 GB. Do the two models differ in the size of the memory? Or can I once again not rely on the technical values that the manufacturer uses in advertising? PS: I asked you another question about the ROM memory of the HK Ultra 2 Max in this comment section. Buddy, are you really sure that you saw 2GB ROM? At 04:46 it is clearly mentioned that the Total Storage = 32GB . Later in the Build Number tapping part, 2GB RAM is shown. If you are having trouble, I would recommend you to zoom in during this part! Maybe you’re mistaken.

It would be nice if you posted the LTE Bands and 5G bands so we would know if it would work for our areas. Aliexpress on some of those don't show the 5G bands only the 4g which makes no since.

It can't, it's an Android Watch and works like a smartphone. By Android watch it does not mean its compatible with Android devices, it means that it runs the Android OS like an Android smartphone and its not a bluetooth smartwatch
they both look good i would say but i think the CD10 one has more color then the other one but overall both are good. you have any different android beside apple design? im waiting for that one.
@iMAT I bought a HK9 Ultra 2 Max. The manufacturer stated that it has 2GB ROM. In reality the watch has under 30 MB of ROM memory. What are your experiences in this regard?
After checking it myself and hearing complaints from many users, I have analysed that its probably a 1 gigabit ROM instead of 1 gigabyte which only equals 125 Megabytes
@iMAT Thank you. Of the 128MB, just over 100MB appears to be used by the operating system itself. I can only use about 20MB for local media. It's pretty pathetic that the watch is advertised everywhere with 2 gigabytes of ROM. Is it exactly the same with the Hello Watch 3 plus? BTW: It would be nice if you do a video, with your recommendations of the best apps for Android smartwatches, in future.
