1:38 “They call their Killjoy a genius. And yet here she is, walking into a battlefield wearing bright yellow.” DAMN, whoever at Riot thought of this gotta be a stand up comedian
You know, Vyse's interaction towards KJ really shows how impractical the clothes that the agents are. Not to mock their clothes but half of them wears normal clothes into the
I get what you mean but in a clove voice line they say something about Valorant being a “covert organization” so they’re supposed to do their missions in secret. I guess it’s supposed to make them blend in with other civilians when they’re not fighting?
I know Vyse have some really cool voice lines with different agents but can we please talk about the lore she brings with her words? Like on ice box and split and that she seems to know Viper for long 👀
given that omen has alot of history/lore with viper just like vyse, it wouldn't be strange to assume they know eachother, too. on top of that, omen was arguably the biggest contributor to finding abyss, maybe second only to clove, so vyse might be familiar with him through those events, too.
for the people saying she funded icebox, thts not what she meant, she meant tht whoever was funding her research cut her funds in order to put more money into icebox.
Well if I ever wanted to know what a sassier, more sarcastic Viper would be like in game? I am glad Vyse showed me it would be 11/10. Some of these burns are fucking hilarious lmfaooooo
my predictions were right, in the agent trailer, the smoke came out of the mask just like viper does in the agent select. I think viper is related to Vyse and before she was a monster a human, now infected my radivore like deadlock or radianite.
People keep saying Vyse is scared of Omen and like... Guys? Are we watching the same video? She's FOND of him. Her voice lines concerning him are STRIKINGLY emotional for someone who consistently puts up a cold front. *"Surely VALORANT has the budget to replace those rags hanging off of you."* If you read even the slightest bit between the lines of this statement, you see that she's complaining at *VALROANT* for mistreating Omen, opposed to attacking Omen himself. Had she wanted to hurt Omen, she'd say something like "Is this what is considered 'stylish' in VALORANT or should I consider your worn rags your own personal flair?" or something to that effect. *"This isn't fair. Being forced to fight Omen. [scoff] But this isn't a fair world."* Again, if you bothered to read anywhere between the words and her tone you would immediately know she's PISSED that she's being forced to harm Omen, not scared of him. It "isn't a fair world" not because he's an insurmountable obstacle but because she cares about any Omen, even an opposing Omen. Vyse is being bitter about THE WORLD for forcing her to fight him. An easy alternative would have been "This isn't fair, being forced to fight that monster. But this isn't a fair world." *"I never tire of watching you work, Omen."* She's using familiar language and speaking with fondness here, opposed to the cold congratulations, analysis and commendations she doles out to people who aren't Viper. Note also that every negative thing she says about anyone else (pretty much) is directly addressed to the actual person or circumstances they control (KJ's jacket, Chamber's vanity, Cypher's caginess, etc.) whereas with Omen she consistently complains about circumstances and outside factors. She *cares* about the person inside the rags, the person she's being forced to shoot at.
I think Vyse may have a similar relationship with Omen, like Raze and KJ. In the end, when KJ kills the enemy Raze, it seems to me that she says "Sorry, Mouse". That even though Raze is from another Earth, KJ doesn't enjoy fighting her.
I find it strange how the agents have voicelines acknowledging that the enemy versions of their friends are not their world's versions - like Raze saying she doesn't have history with the enemy Breach - yet for kill voicelines, the mirror counterpart thing doesn't really feel present sometimes. Here for example, it doesn't sound like _Alpha_ Vyse killing _Omega_ Viper, it just sounds like Vyse killing Viper. Only about half the time do the agents act like their opponents are from the opposing world. The kill voicelines sometimes don't sound like the agents are fighting mirror copies of themselves, just enemies they happen to know really well. On another note, I do wonder why the Protocol and Legion are so hell-bent on slaughtering each other and reviving themselves and fighting again later, endlessly. What's the in-universe reason for why the two sides aren't willing to talk things out and try helping each other instead of fighting? Alpha and Omega literally have helped each other before, after they discovered each other's existence. Omega has a reason to steal radianite from somewhere, but it's unclear on why they view Alpha as the bad guys who deserve to be stolen from.
She’s not agent 8. But her map voice lines basically confirm she worked for Kingdom at some point which Viper did as well, so they probably knew each other as coworkers
What did Yoru do to everyone man 😭 We got Vyse with that, Raze with the "blow up his ego" probably figuratively and literally. Skye's trying to break his nose. Got Viper shaming him for staying here. Like leave my guy alone. Only person who is remotely nice to him is Omen which is honestly utterly shocking. (+Sage, Jett and Brim sometimes) Everyone else even their compliments are the most backhanded things ☠️
Why do i have a weird feeling about that viper didnt just made out of omen a monster also did the same with vyse or she was an old friend of viper wanting to repeat the experiment viper did with omen but this time making sure she doesnt lose her memories like omen but viper didnt wanted so she walked to hourglass and wanted to test it on someone got betrayed by them and became the radiant not loosing her memories and then started to seek revenge you know what i mean?
