@olubukolaabuno Well, I took the reins in my hands, moved with my children to another state (one was a infant at the time), established living quarters, found a local church (I'm a Christian, so I moved by Faith) continued civilian employment (I am a military veteran) and kept it moving. I am now retired. All the children have children today. I also happen to be a PK, and that foundation from birth was my strength. By NO means was it easy!! I had many sleepless crying nights, and unfortunately, the older children knew what their Dad was doing. (One son found his condoms in my car 😡) There are many things that I won't divulge here, but God brought me through. Besides my faith, my military training came in handy for stamina; I'm a former police officer. Honestly, I was a "what did I do wrong?" wife at the beginning, but when his sister said,"it's about time!!!" when I finally left, I knew I did the right thing, not only for myself but for my three sons and daughter. It has not been easy, but thank God I don't look like what I've been through. I'm free.
