W.A. Mozart - Piano Concerto in B flat, K. 450 ("Amadeus" Soundtrack) 

Honestly, my favorite moment is the violoncello and contrabass ascending chromatic at 0:39. It just provides the perfect contrast and build up for the orchestra to resolve to B flat major to introduce the piano solo.

"Well, next time you wish me to instruct another one of your dogs, please let me now."

There are many composers during his era whose music sounded 'similar' eg Hadyn, John Christian Bach, Joseph Wolfl, Early Beethoven and etc.... but what sets Mozart apart is the delightful direction and journey he brings us after the THEME melody is set. The way he explored on the THEME is a joyride that sometimes bring out the smiles and giggles from our inner child...something no composer has done before...in my opinion. His music is not intense like mid to late Beethoven or Brahms....but a lighter version filled with playful demeanor that goes down well with the public's ears til today. Having said that, if you like MOZART's music, you will like JOSEPH WOLFL too. He is another delightful composer whose music sounds similar to Mozart's. His music is like Schubert meets Mozart. I greatly admire you Mr Mozart. your amazing gift for melody is beyond a normal human ability. If only you are still alive today.... you'd know how many billions of people on earth still listen and appreciate your music. It's a real tragedy you died at such a young age of only 35. The whole world can only imagine how many more Masterpieces you could have composed had you lived up to 65. RIP Mr Mozart. You are gone but never will be forgotten.
