1985...and still today,...is head and shoulders above most rock bands..hell above ANY band. Blackie lawless was a true front man, his song writing was full of meaning, emotion. Mean machine, The idol..through to Trail of tears...He gave music a soul..and you felt it everytime you listened to him.

Far out my mum use 2 go bizzerk every time i uest 2 listen 2 any of wasps music.I just released from waikeria corrections nz in 1982 when I first heard of them.it's 2020 now I feel a bit emotional just listing 2 this great band. Hahaa mumm.love u pesaw

Blackie was on some game show called "Hit Or Miss" where celebs decide if a new song is going to be a success or not. On came this dreadful pop song and Blackie hit his own miss button and the miss button of the others. They asked for an explanation and he simply said, "I'm a serious musician. That was disrespectful to my profession." They moved on to the next song.

I have to laugh at this. A guy that wrote a song called ' animal i fuck like a beast' has no business saying hes a serious musician. I saw them in 1985 opening for Ratt, and Blackie had on chaps with his ass hanging out. I really didnt need to see that.

Well, I was a truly last time fighter in Cold War. And I had to pay fer that. I did what expected and fought hard. Ask any for opposite that. I was some of best SAM-shooters in scale of my servicing time.
