This was excellent. So many attempts at "SURPRISE, IT'S A HORROR GAME" fall completely flat, but this was properly intriguing -- and that was the perfect point to leave off the demo. In fact, calling it a "demo" feels like it's doing it a disservice -- this feels more like the "Episode 1" of a shareware game from the '90s. And I mean that 100% as a huge compliment. Proper creativity backed up by solid game design and a clear artistic vision. Chef's kiss.

This one was so effective because it was more than just "creepy old game." I like how theyre going beyond and giving it another layer of reality to go through. AND the game looked fun. Im excited for the full thing

I gotta say, since maybe a third of all video games have fishing in there somewhere now, this actually one of the cooler fishing mechanics I've seen.

TL:DR - play Dredge, Faith, and Inscryption :) Darnold and Anthrax! If you liked this game and while you wait for a full release, y'all should really play Dredge!! Another really cool fishing game with some deep secrets going on, and surprisingly way more play time than just a "fishing game" normally would have! Another game with similar old retro style to this one is Faith! Another scary game where youre uncovering a spooky-ooky story. Final game I'll recommend that has a similar LARGE story is Inscryption! Starts as a card game with MTG type rules, so I know you'll both enjoy that, and then does a similar thing this game does where once you "finish" the first round, multiple other games WITHIN the game start opening up! Hope y'all will play some or even all of these at some point! Mayhaps Ghoul Grumps since I know y'all record way in advance O.O

I don't think they understood how the time works, if they think of it as bag slots then they can only get five fish before their bag is filled and they have to end the day. Basically the time slots only decrease by catching the fish.
