I'd like to see them offer some of these vehicles in canada sometime. Maybe a new branch. Offer it for about a cap of 12K tops for the medium range options and a very competitive budget of 7K tops for the low end cars. Keep the retro look, and have them be capable of a dual transmission system. Manual and automatic. Similar to 2000's volvos. I think it would sell well

Actually, UAZ is producing just two models: 1. Kozyol (goat) which jumps around off-road. 2. Boohanka (formed bread) which carries something to a village on the other poor-built road end. If boohanka carries a doctor inside, it's called tabletka (pill). All other indexes and models doesn't really matter.
UAZ is the factory (zavod) in Ulianovsk. They started making GAZ vehicles and thereafter switched to their own design models turning themselves into a whole brand.

After that first after war jeep gaz69, and since 1956 the produced first uaz - 452 model 4wd part time off-road minivan. Their main model uaz 469 only since 1972. Initially it was designed not as only army vehicle - it was multi purpose personal offroader for the multitude of areas throughout the Soviet Union, which developed road infrastructer too slow. But Soviet Government restricted it's sales for simple individuals... It offerd only for army, industries like oil and gas, forestry, and sometime agricultural industries

Dont believe in 1985 you can power these bricks to 120+ with around 100hp - think the mph 78 has to be 78kmh - never drove one though also funny no matter the year from 1985 to 2019 both hp and topspeed almost remains the same -
