W.C. Fields was honored by SPERDVAC (Society to Preserve and Encourage Radio Drama Variety and Comedy) on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Costa Mesa, CA. The Golden Age of Radio Convention's program presented exciting blends of our grandfather's radio and film careers with rarely heard radio clips and endearing W.C. Fields' film clips of the same era in Hollywood. Rare family photos pieced together a luminous montage amid comments from grandchildren Ronald J. Fields and Dr. Harriet Fields.
